WORST Ceviche I’ve had so far in my life. Who thought ceviche with a ball of rice was a good idea!? Ew. With such a high price, once the rice is out the way there’s literally maybe 3 spoon fulls of ceviche. Did they add the rice to make the plate look full?? Disappointing. Friendly service but that’s about it.

The atmosphere was nice overall, but I was really disappointed with the value for money. For $17–$20 per roll, you’d expect something more filling and satisfying. The rolls were very small, and the fish was sliced so thin it was barely there. I left still feeling hungry. Honestly, for those prices, I wouldn’t come back.
Not recommended. No meat. At a proper place, you eat three sushi rolls — you’re full. Here, you order an appetizer or two and you’re still starving. Tiny portions, not worth it.

Our kids love sushi so we were so happy to find this gem in the desert. The vegan ceviche was incredible, and the vegan rolls were fabulous. Not your run of the mill veggie sushi. The chef’s really put effort into making it beautiful and delicious.
The small plate was like $25 and it was the thinnest slice of meat I’ve ever seen. Probably the caloric equivalent of eating like 10 pieces of popcorn. I guess if that’s your style but I probably won’t be back. Highlight is the nice folk that work there.
Great sushi here! We had a mix of Nigiri and 2 signature rolls. Absolutely fresh and delicious. Highly recommend you check it out if you’re in Moab. Shared Matcha Crème Brûlée for dessert.

Place with plenty of open tables. Waited 20+ minutes, then had to ask to have someone take our order. The food was so salty I couldn't eat it. They used to have a menu full of options. Very limited now.

Excellent and unique sushi! Many vegetarian and vegan options too. Try the vegan lemon curd for dessert:)

We love the food here, it is one of my favorite restaurants in Moab. Birthday dinner? Sabaku. Taking my lady out for a fancy date night? Sabaku. Just wanting some real good sushi? Sabaku all day.
I'm writing this review because the service simply does not do the food justice.
We found ourselves at dinner the other night scheming about ways to catch our servers attention at multiple points throughout the meal. We also found ourselves waiting 10-15 minutes with empty plates before having a chance to ask for the bill. This is not the first time we have had this experience here.
I think the service would likely improve by hiring an extra server for busy nights. It would help customers feel attended to, it would make tables turn a little faster, and it would make this a 5 star restaurant instead of a 3 or a 4.

The vegan ceviche was so good! The sushi rolls are a bit limited but I was super grateful to have the option! I don’t recommend the “doctors order” cocktail (bland) but my friend really liked the prickly pear margarita.
Loved all the vegan options
