Interior feels like a cafeteria. The service was awful. The food was very good, but overall an underwhelming experience.

The food was delicious and the views breathtaking!!!

Parking: The road leading up goes from two lanes to one but worth the mini heart attack to get there. Plenty of spots in the upper area.

Menu is very traditional and not terribly creative. My steak was delicious, but the veg and salad were average to poor. They're trading on the historical nature and view from the property. Very dated. Refused to share the Wifi password. In a tourist town? nice views but a challenging driveway and parking. It is impossible to access for RVs or trailers.

Dietary restrictions: Not gluten friendly.

Moab's best restaurant. We love the atmosphere sitting outside at sunset. The food and service was amazing. 10 minutes wait

We chose to sit inside because it was cold and the restaurant felt dated and cluttered. Our server was not great and when we complained they told our waiter before we left which was awkward. Some of the food was good. Some was not

Overall mediocre restaurant despite the initial promise. Quite incredible location high above the city, this restaurant has several rooms and a huge terrace. First tip: avoid eating inside because these rooms are very gloomy (canteen/cafeteria type furniture, ugly decoration and above all a dominant smell of greasy garlic cooking). The terrace is much more attractive. The menu is very/too short and frankly unappetizing: lots of garlic and cream, little variety of vegetables. We ordered beers which are served in cans (sic). The wine list is ultra basic. In short, no class. My dish (trout) was pretty decent but at $34 plus tax plus tip…in short, there are much better options in Moab

Parking: Very limited parking near restaurant entrance. When you miss that parking there is in a lot signicantly above the restaurant. Not bad going down the hill but a tough walk up the hill. Drinks fairly priced but $3 add on for a martini? Bush! Service good but certainly not worth the $$ for the entrée. The view is not worth it. Pass

Such a phenomenal restaurant. Super close to our stay at the Element.

We arrived at peak time which was sunset and there was a quite a bit of wait. They normally do not take reservations, only walk ins, unless you have an event planned. Which was fine since the outside waiting area was not bad to look at. We told them first come availability and lucky for us it was at the most scenic patio view.

Be warned with the drink specials, as I ordered a Prickly Pear margarita with mostly ice, it was delicious but not $20 worth. Unfortunately we didn’t know until the end but overall our experience was delectable. So it’s better to order from the menu when it comes to drinks.

DO NOT sleep on the artichoke bruschetta appetizer because it was one of our favorites. The fresh bread and our entrees were also great. My spouse ordered Spaghetti with grilled chicken and for me, it was the first time I ordered Ahi Tuna. All the soy and citrus flavors were a great complement. Learning about the history of this house turned restaurant was also very eye catching.

Definitely would recommend to people staying in Moab. And if you’re not comfortable driving up the hill and finding parking, they do offer shuttle services to their bottom parking lot and even complementary rides to and from your stay depending on distance.

My husband and I were visiting Moab on our honeymoon and decided to have supper at Sunset Grill. From the moment we pulled up until the moment we left, the entire staff had the perfect balance of being professional yet friendly. We were quoted a wait on the phone, though it didn't take quite that long for us to be seated. Our spectacular server, Ugur, went above and beyond to make this evening special for us in so many ways. Thank you Ugur! You made our evening awesome! The rest of the staff was wonderful as well! The food was cooked perfectly, presented well, and tasted amazing...from the pastry appetizer to the steaks with sides and ending with the razzleberry pie. The atmosphere and view were spot on as well. Thank you all for a lovely evening with great food and service!

Absolutely amazing as always. Wendell our server was scarily good at reading our table. Almost like a mind reader when it came to menu choices and allowed us to branch our experience more. He made genuine connections with us and accurately predicted our taste within seconds. 20/10
