We’re from Tennessee so I think we know a little about BBQ. Had brisket and burnt ends both were excellent, seasoned well nice smoke flavor and super tender. Beans were also good, little smoke flavor. Coleslaw was good. Took a slab of ribs to go, not a fan of sauce on my ribs but the meat was excellent. Would return in a heartbeat!!
Great food Great service Great atmosphere Great music 🎶 🎵 weak drinks 🍸
Note that if you goto the restaurant and order alcohol you must also order food it's a utah law. You can goto the bar and just get alcohol but note that they do not open until 4pm and then there is live music.
The food and sauces were excellent, so delicious - catfish, brisket, and pulled pork, mac n cheese, Yum Enjoyed music playing.
Still great barbecue.
Terrible. Do not eat here if you need gluten free. Even though GF is marked on the menu and you tell them food comes with cornbread over everything. Manager was horrible to work with, wouldn’t fix issue letting us know it was our fault and offered a “non gluten free dessert “ but said “oh but you can’t eat that.” Got horribly sick.
Blu Pig Bar B Que I scrumptious. This is the best Bar B Que that I've had in this area. The food was fresh and not over cooked. We got our little piggy bellies full after a day of hiking Canyonlands. Next time I hope to go when a blues band is playing.
This is a restaurant/bar with live music. We did not enter the restaurant, because we wanted to hear the music. We went straight to the bar, where they also have tables for meals. My wife had pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. She was very happy with it. I gad a smoked tri-tip sandwich and cheesy potatoes. The steak was perfectly tender and tasty. The cheesy potatoes are a nice coarse mash.
The music by Dave Mensch was excellent. He is better live than recorded.
Excellent food and drinks. We had one of each of the drink specials. Very good. Service was superb. Great conversation and just all around good time. Bbq sauces at the table were pretty good. Burnt ends are cooked perfectly. Catfish was good but kinda bland. Baked beans were hot and had meat chunks in it. Not spicy hot. We will be back for sure. We live 3 hrs out. Well worth it!
A wonderful establishment to eat at when visiting Moab.
Restaurantji Recommends
I went there ordered the 3 meat combo I got 2 meats.I ordered a sweet tea.I got sour sour moldy tea with no ice to go.So by the time I got out to my truck to eat it.I realized that I was missing the third meat which I paid for and that the tea was no good , pretty upset
Some of the best bbq around.
Nothing could be improved, everything was just perfect. Thank you for this moment!
A wonderful discovery that I recommend without hesitation.
Food is pretty middle of the road, but the service was great!
We had a very long day of going through the Arches and Canyonlands as well as taking our dog to Mill Creek. It was suggested to us to go to the Blu Pig which is dog friendly. We sat on the patio by the bar and it was cool, covered and a great area to relax. They brought the dog a water dish. Our food was excellent and we loved it, with large portions too! Great BBQ! The pic of the dog drooling was pretty much how we felt about the food, it was SO GOOD it made you drool!! I forgot to take pic of my food!
