doug’s steak and barbecue smokehouse probably the worst place I’ve ever eaten at and I’m 17 years old worse than when I went backpacking last year worse than my freeze dried meals there was an ant in my fries. The fries were green. The coleslaw was the most sour thing you’ve ever tasted, the beans were burnt to bridle . The cornbread taste like chalk straight out of the ground. And the ribs They’re all right great grandma could’ve made better in the oven the mac & cheese wow never seen such soggy white noodles in my life. They were sour is all get out. ps we’re going to a gas station food to get better food at the gas station. Mom started crying after. Worst waste of money ever. but I appreciate the workers there they were Very kind but man the recipes in the cooks in the back you guys gotta get to work. Also might wanna buy a plunger, we left all the food for you in the toilet #Food poisoning

Delicious macaroni and cheese, Steak was seasoned perfectly, homemade ranch, fresh fries were good but a little over seasoned, coleslaw solid 8/10.

My Diablo hamburger was excellent. I bit into a good firm crusty roll filled with a large grass fed patty, seasoned just right and delicious hatch chilies.

Wednesday evening service was prompt and we ordered quickly. Food took 10-15 minutes. We ordered 2 burgers and an order of pork tacos. Everything was delicious. Definitely a good hole-in-the-wall spot I would happily return to.

Beautiful fresh salad. Amazing brisket tacos with pickled onion. Bacon Jalepeno poppers & Carrot Cake. What else could you want? Full bar, but we don't really drink. Casual fun atmosphere. Server, Ashton, was friendly and efficient. Google didn't show any restaurants between Moab & Colorado....they missed this one. Must stop!

Food was amazing for a small town BBQ joint. Mostly handheld but a few appetizers and salads. The jalapeño poppers were great and the brisket tacos were amazing. Ashton was our server and she was excellent! Great place to stop on the drive from Moab to Albuquerque. ⁷

Traveling to Moab, UT, stopped in Monticello. Excellent smoked BBQ Brisket, juicy and charred crust! Onion rings were fried to perfection. Great coleslaw too. My wife had the pulled pork. She loved it!
Service was very friendly and a frontier style dining room. Best experience yet!

Brisket was absolutely delicious, moist with just the right amount of marbling. Fries are yummy, pepper seasoned and crisp. Well worth the stop!
