We were traveling through Monticello on a trip and decided to try what the locals were telling us about this place. It was wonderful! I had to try my default when I hit a BBQ place for the first time - Pulled Pork Sandwich. This thing was massive, with a mound of tender and flavorful pulled pork that was so tender and juicy that it really did not need any BBQ Sauce. The fries were hand cut and fried to perfection and were absolutely amazing on their own. We had a fabulous meal here and enjoyed the personable service in a quaint out of the way diner with its own distinctive flair.

We have spent a ton of time in the Monticello area since July and have eaten here several times. We tried all the meats, salad, potatoes au gratin, ice cream, fries, onion rings, burgers, kids meals and beer. Hands down the best potatoes au gratin I've ever had. The brisket and pulled pork never disappoints! You can't go wrong with anything you order. Stop in and eat. You'll leave full and happy!

Don't miss this opportunity to sample some great BBQ if traveling through Monticello, Utah. Service great and food came quick. He had the pulled pork (loved it--but you might need extra sauce, too) and I tried the ribs, YUMMMMMM! While I ordered the half and took some home I think future I'd order the full next time so we could have MORE leftover. Au gratins were a great side. Wish they offered a smaller mix (I wanted to try a little brisket, little rib and the mixed order was too large for us, traveling). Restroom outside (chilly) so that was the only miss.

Finally found someone. Got seated and ordered.
Pulled pork sandwich was good. Fries were good. No sugar for iced tea. ?? Why? Must be mainly a beer and bones place.
The items on the website do not reflect the current menu. I really wanted the cole slaw, which was commented on the site, but it wasn't on the menu.
Looks like they barely survived the covid restaurant aftermath.
People looked like they liked the food. I liked what I had. So if you like bbq, give it a try. Bring your own sugar.

The salad was delicious, the ingredients were fresh, and the burger was generous, with fries and onion rings. There are many kinds of pork burgers.

The brisket is wonderful. Tender, moist and delicious! The best I've had. Our waitress, Crystal, was charming and very helpful. I wish they were located in my home town. The restrooms were located outside the restaurant. That could be a downer in bad weather. That is the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating for atmosphere.
