Peacocks!Never mind the food which was pretty dang good. Our server (red headed young lady) was wonderful and very attentive. Sorry, didn’t catch your name. I looked around and you’re the only red head ☺️.There were peacocks walking around outside. The larger one, Prince, is huge and beautiful. His son is cute too but not like his dad. We grabbed three desserts and took off again on our way to my next hospice nursing assignment in California. If you’re in the area, give this place a try, it’s about 8 miles off I80. I think you’ll really like it

Always consistent and good food. Slightly out of the way location makes this an intentional destination rather than a quick stop by. But nice views of the canyon and when the weather is nice the patio is great! Definitely try a desert when your here! Great all around place. Recommend and will visit again.

We haven't been here in years and we're driving though so we stopped in as it's just off the freeway in a beautiful Morgan canyon. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries, I had a chicken salad with a small bowl of creamy chicken artichoke soup. The hamburger was fairly good size and served fresh with a side of french fries. My soup was served hot and was very flavorful. My salad was delicious! While you're waiting to be seated you are looking right at the desserts that they offer which are made daily and are absolutely amazing as well. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Service by John was amazing and quick. This restaurant is small but beautiful. They also offer patio seating that is completely enclosed so you are able to see a beautiful waterfall & a couple of colorful peacocks. They offer a fairly good size menu, Taggart's did not disappoint, food with the a view!

Stopped in and gave Taggart's a try on a heavy snowy day just off the freeway in a beautiful Morgan canyon. If you blink you'll miss it and you'll be sorry! I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries, my wife had a chicken salad with a small bowl of creamy chicken artichoke soup. My hamburger was of fairly good size and serve fresh with a side of french fries. My wife's soup was served hot and was very flavorful. Next time I will replace my fries with the bowl of soup. And of course while you're waiting to be seated you are looking right at the desserts that they offer which are made daily and are absolutely amazing as well. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Service by John was amazing and quick. This restaurant is small but beautiful. They also offer patio seating that is completely enclosed so you are able to see a beautiful waterfall And if you're lucky a couple of colorful peacocks. They offer a fairly good size menu, surprised to see Mexican food on it but nonetheless the dinner menu looks amazing, the prices are much higher. $$$$ Will have to give them a try for dinner. Taggart's did not disappoint same with the view!

Sounds carry too loud at this restaurant, chairs moving, people talking, can't get a glass of wine while waiting or sit at a table or bar, very under managed, staff very untrained and unknowledgable, no adult managers around. Overall just not impressed at all. The only thing going for this place is their big deserts. Other than that, wouldn't recommend and we won't be going back and we live locally.

We love this place. It is a bit of a drive for us, so we do not go that often, but, when we do, we love it. The atmosphere is rustic yet clean and inviting. The staff, in a word, is hip, but not pretentiously hip - just hip. The food is so "down home" that I feel like I want to sell my home, so that we may move closer to Taggart's.Enjoy!

A lovely place with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. You can't ask for much better. This restaurant somehow feels far off the beaten path while being directly off the exit of a major interstate. It's nestled in the canyon like a hidden gem and it always feels that way because of how special you feel dining here. It's like high class dining for an affordable price. The crown jewel here is anything with their house-made pita bread. My grandmother and I love to come here, and since her favorite meal is the fish and chips, we always get the artichoke dip with pita instead of chips so we can make sure she gets to still enjoy the bread. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend you try!
