I was craving a ham & turkey sandwich. But Capriotti's doesn't have ham per se but they do have another type capicola? So I opted for the turkey bacon club. It was good. We got sandwiches again today. An Italian meats sandwich and The Bobbie. The Bobbie is supposed to remind one of a post Thanksgiving turkey sandwich complete with stuffing and a cranberry spread. They laid turkey chunks across the bottom of the bread then laid 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cranberry sauce on the turkey, (LITTERALLY) then they took stuffing, shaped it into a log and pressed that on the sauce smashing the turkey into the bread. The turkey had no flavor, like salt? No smoked flavor. It was disappointing; especially when I walked out I noticed East Coast Subs across the way as I walked out with lunch for me and my friend. The Italian sandwich was great, very flavorful.

Okay, so I saw the advertisements from Capriotti’s advertising 25% more meat. Honestly, I did not plan on going back because there was so little meat on the sandwiches the last time I went there.
As you can see from the photos, there is not much meat on the sandwich. Yes, it is more meat than before. But honestly, it is nothing like when I first went to Capriotti’s years ago. With all of the inflation, I’m sure they are trying to find ways to keep the price down. Also, they probably do not want to reduce their profit margin. Consequently, they no longer have a standout sandwich.
The photos they use in their advertising have the bread smashed to make it look like they have more meat in relation to the bread. But when they first opened their store, they used to take out some of the bread because there was so much meat!
The people working at the store are fantastic! The atmosphere is really nice. Overall, it is a solid two stars because of the portion of meat. After finishing my meal, I actually left the restaurant a little hungry.

First time getting an order from them. Loved it, new favorite. Been looking for a good sub shop thats not afraid to make big subs. They fit the bill. A bit pricey, but don’t let that discourage you. In a world where you get what you pay for, these guys are worth every penny.

Honestly used to loved this place. I’m not one to complain but just look at this picture. I paid $10.89 for a medium Bobbie and basically got bread, a little stuffing and some cranberry sauce. You can see some strips of turkey there if you look hard. :/
Great sandwich when it’s made even just OKAY - but this is totally not worth the price if there’s literally no consistent quality going into what’s advertised.

This sandwich shop is absolutely amazing! The place is spotless — super clean and well-kept, which makes the whole dining experience feel that much better. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every time I walk in, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The management team deserves a huge shoutout — they clearly run a tight, positive, and well-organized ship. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down to enjoy your meal, this shop hits all the marks. Highly recommend!

Slowest place on the planet and there were 3 people in there. I can't imagine what the dinner or lunch rush is like. Everyone would be late to something. Took almost 30 minutes for them to make one sandwich.

Didn’t listen to a single instruction listed in the DoorDash order. Everything was wrong, including an extra charge we paid for.

Two female cooks kept touching their hair, and one even wiped her nose and did not change gloves.
Walked in for lunch and there were only 2 people working. They seemed to be working on several online orders and while we did make eye contact several times, my dad and I were never acknowledged or assisted in any way in the 11 minutes we spent waiting at the counter to order. Given that we had a limited amount of time for lunch, we left and walked over to East Coast Subs. The person taking orders greeted us before we even finished walking through the door, which was so refreshing after having been ignored at Capriotti’s. No sandwich is worth waiting to be acknowledged for so long.

The Philly I got was pathetic… it was mostly bread. A laughable amount of meat, and dry because the lack of cheese. Jersey Mike’s, a national chain, does it way better if you want a good Philly.
