Fish was better than most fried fish places and would come back when they had Halibut in stock.
Fries were fresh and crispy.
The clam chowder didn’t have any clams and just tasted Smokey in a bad way.

Im from Los Angeles came out to to Utah for business and found his Hidden Gem on Yelp food was fresh and delicious best fish and chips I've ever had. I got the Yankees special which comes with Cod and salmon and ordered a side of coleslaw, coleslaw was nice and creamy you can you can tell it was homemade. The fish was battered perfectly and they give you huge portions I could only finish half fries were nice and crispy with a beautiful texture delicious all the way around

Finally a great fish eatery. I don't know about the truck but the food at restaurant was fresh, seasoned well. Fries were also very good. I took home what I couldn't eat and finished them off later. They gave extra fry sauce to take with me. If I was to say one thing negatively it would be the wait time, but it was worth the wait.

I love this. My wife won’t eat fish so when I ate here by myself. But I don’t know if it’s because i am fish food deficient or what, but this was the BEST fish and Chips I have ever had. I thought of the song by Depech Mode “Just can’t get Enough” because it is so addicting.

I did not expect a 40 minute wait time for my order. I ordered the Yankee combo which should come with 2 cod and 2 salmon fish fillets and fries. I got my order and went home (I went to the food truck and I'm not eating in 90 degree heat). When I opened my order I had three full sized fillets of fish and one half sized with almost no fish with it. All of the fish fillets were cod, I did not get any salmon which should have been with my order. The food itself was fine. The fish was good but not seasoned enough, also a little greasier than I like. The fries were nice and crisp, but we're not seasoned whatsoever. They also would have forgotten my drink if I didn't make sure I had it before I left. Overall, my order was messed up after a 40 minute wait and could have been seasoned better.

Love this place the fish is really good and the atmosphere is great it's like a pub somewhere you would expect in another city . I write this place a thumbs up👍

Fish On food truck was less than I hoped for. The 3 cod fillet meal for $17 was not worth it. Although the cod seemed fresh, it was extremely greasy/oily ...just more than what I like... fries were ok, just lacked flavor. They provided 2 packets of ketchup, 1 small cup of fry sauce, and 1 small cup of tartar sauce, both of which were filled 1/3 or less. The tartar sauce wasn't enough to go with the 3 fillers and severely lacked in any flavor ...same with the fries... my coworker got the Yankee combo...and for $22 ... said it wasn't worth going back. He said the cod was good, but the salmon wasn't good at all. I'm sure there are better places in Utah, but I wouldn't use my money to go back. Please note that we had to wait probably 20+ minutes as well...

Worst Lobster Roll I ever had, don’t waste your money! My understanding is this is a new product for them. They obviously did not try one from Freshie’s before launching theirs.

I took the cod and fries, this ones were so delicious ! My only concern is this place didn’t provide physical receipt, they offered to sent it vía text or email when you never gave that . From where they collected the information?

UPDATE: We went to FishOn Bistro on Tuesday this week 11/05…. Same great experience as the first time. The portions are huge, the best Fish and Chips I have had in Utah. I took a photo this time ? We ordered two of their 3 piece cod and fries meals, and we could not eat all of it, we had leftovers to take home. The fry sauce is amazing, so is the tartar sauce and malt vinegar. So yummy.

We tried FishOn’s Food Truck tonight in West Jordan, I’m so glad we tried it. The fries were amazing. Fry sauce was great. The cod was the best fried cod I’ve had in a long time. Prices were super reasonable. Tartar sauce was great and it came with a very fresh wedge of lemon. We will definitely be back.. sorry no photos. I’ll get one next time.

The fish is thick and the batter light. Great taste and value. The Clam Chowder sorry I've had way better, no clam taste nor meat to be found in it.
