Stopped by for my 2nd time today when I seen you on my lunch break at HAFB and had to try something different from my first visit even though my order was slightly wrong the first time it was still very good food, and today you totally made up for it after mentioning the simple mistake in my last order, you knocked it out of the park with this order. LYF Country Kitchen has fantastic chicken fried steak. Crispy and delicious with the mashed potatoes and gravy. But what surprise to see the other interesting menu items they offer; the eggrolls were done to perfection and the banana cream pudding was perfection! They recently catered an outdoor wedding and it was a fabulous set up.

The BEST food truck I've ever had. The best food, best prices, best customer service. I had the steak eggroll which was crispy, not greasy, and full of flavor. Then had the apple pie eggroll which had homemade filling....not the canned that I figured it would be. Came with whipped cream. 5 stars for sure. I hope they come back soon.

Lady was nice but the country fried steak sandwich I got was horrible, it was so chewy. The amount of mayo slapped onto it was intense… disappointed ☹️
I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and tator tots. The sandwich was delightful with well proportioned ingredients. I thought it would be sloppy with the gravy but there was no mess. The steak was not the chewy rough type at all. The tator tots were a generous serving and were not either over cooked or mushy. Their frysauce was the creamy type which is my favorite.The best part is the pricing is reasonable which is rare with food trucks in the current year. The wait was a little longer than average so plan time accordingly but I'll take quality over speediness anytime. 10/10 would recommend.

People working were great. Food was just ok. 1 slice of ham on a ham and cheese was pretty meh. Give me some meat I am happy to pay a couple extra bucks for it. The country fried steak sandwich was dry and a little tough. The best thing we had was the apple pie egg roll however $5 for it seemed a tad pricey. The wait times was about 15 minutes after the order was placed.

You really should try the “Chicken Fried Steak”. And yes it was called like this, and also yes this was a Texas style “Fried Steak”. Man try this and you will taste the flavor for a whole day!!! It was that good!
