Reservation was made 1 week prior. At arrival to restaurant they said that will close with out explanation. On Thanksgiving day. Lack of courtesy, professionalism, respect. They don't even contact us to advise. We ended without Thanksgiving dinner because ot them. Avoid this restaurant at all. Not recommended.

We decided to do Thanksgiving dinner at Mimi‘s this year and booked a 5 PM reservation. When we got there, the place was packed and people that had reservations earlier than us. We're still waiting in line. We left and went across the parking lot IHOP as they told us to wait. Probably be 1 to 2 hours. Management at this Mimi‘s obviously is extremely bad. They screwed up a lot of people‘s Thanksgiving dinner. It's too bad.

We made three reservations on Thanksgiving and upon arrival, the restaurant was packed full of people. After making our way up to the podium, they had a bunch of names written with dry erase marker on glass. They only had one of my reservations even though I had them pulled up right there on my phone. The other two could easily have been accidentally erased but either way they were not written. The poor girls were frazzled taking everyone's complaints and frustration....they explained they simply “overbooked” and were taking walk ins also. Why in the world would they take walk ins and reservations?!?! Pick one. We were told it would be about 45 mins wait. We decided to leave and walked across the street to ihop. Loud, frenzied, chaotic environment for sure. Very good example of poor management and greed.

Overall experience was ok. Made reservations for Thanksgiving. When we arrived, the hostess had no way to confirm our reservation, so we had to wait in line like those without reservations-about 45 minutes for a party of three. (It would have been a much longer wait if we had been in a larger party.) Once we were seated, the service was good. They must have been running low on clean silverware as one of us had a salad serving fork instead of a normal dinner one. The menu for the day was very nice. It included the meat with two kinds of potatoes and stuffing and green bean casserole. The lettuce in the Caesar salad should have been much darker. One entree plate was missing the cranberry sauce and the meat was only lukewarm with dry edges. The dessert was very good, but didn't include whipped cream on the pie even though the menu said it was included.

My experience stems from Thanksgiving 2025. I was deeply disappointed that advanced booking reservations were completely ignored. The food was good though they had run out of lettuce, so a salad was not available. Considering the overcrowding, the service was quite good. I was also disappointed with the desserts. Two options pumpkin and pecan, both of which were barely passable. I did leave a nice tip because the employees worked on Thanksgiving, so we didn't have to.

It was really chaotic when we arrived. From what I overheard, everyone had reservations amd it was way overbooked. That's really frustrating when you have a reservation and come expecting to be seated right away. In the past when we've gone to Mimi's, it was charming, quaint,.and delicious. This time, it was like a step up from a cafeteria. We have decided we won't come again on Thanksgiving.

I had made reservations for Thanksgiving two months before the holiday. Not only was our table NOT ready, but we had to wait almost two hours before we were seated. People who walked in were seated before us!! Our waitress was great-also very stressed! We ordered appetizers, which were never served. When our dinners were served, they had been sitting under the light for a while. The potatoes were cold and everything else was lukewarm. Mimi's needs to be more organized, turn walkins away and service those who had reservations. They obviously overbooked and could not efficiently handle what they created! I'm so disappointed in the management. I won't be frequenting Mimi!s again.

We had made a reservation weeks prior to Thanksgiving Day, but were surprised that same-day reservations, call-in reservations, and walk-ins were being allowed as well. This made for a very confusing entry area (I'm sure the hostesses had difficulty keeping all the different parties in their respective systems and waiting times). So we had expected to need to wait a long time, because of the huge crowd in the lobby/foyer. As it turned out, it was only a 5-minute wait, so we were happy about that. In the future, I think they should consider not accepting walk-ins (unless those walk-ins know it'll be a 2+ hour wait or something like that), and maybe not accepting same-day reservations or call-ins. It's Thanksgiving Day, after all! Even so, we were pleased with where we were seated. The food was great. Service was okay (I'm sure the servers were extra busy with all the full tables). Our server was friendly, despite all the hectic feel that there was while we were there.

I have not been to Mimi's Cafe in years and could not remember why. My kids always loved it for the waffles with mixed berries. I was looking for Thanksgiving reservations on line. My mom is 94 and sort of fussy with new foods or flavors. I was glad to see Mimi's on the list and got a reservation. We were seated immediately and the server asked us for our drink information. Once our coffee arrived, we had two choices to make... salad or soup and what desert. That was the last time we saw our server till the check came. Coffee and waters were never refilled and no one checked to see if everything was okay. I would have expected better service having paid $30 per head and the work load was fairly easy. Not sure why, but the turkey had an odd flavor. Overall the dinner was pretty "meh" .... Holiday's are hard enough when you have all of your family in Europe. Dinner for two is the pits. Glad I didn't have to cook, but for what I paid, I should have.

Terrible . They took our order. Our waitress disappeared after that. An hour later II asked a manager looking guy how much longer our order would be. He said I will check. About 5 min later he is handing a uber driver a to go order. He never xame back advise us ir update us. I looked around and 3 other tables were not getting their orders either??!! So we decided it was best to leave. So sad.
