I love supporting vegan restaurants whenever possible, but I will say it’s a little weird that when I try to go to this restaurant, I always have to look at their weird hours, what day they’re open, if they close early on Some days, And they don’t really stay open that late, and they don’t really open that early for breakfast. It’s interesting to see emails of this place needing more support all the time, but there seems to be some hurdles that are keeping them from achieving a normal schedule. Was headed there today, but it looks like they are closed on Wednesdays all together.

The food is good, but it loses my attention span with all the weirdness..

But there seems to be struggles with inventory because sometimes certain items on the menu just aren’t available. Or they’ll make decisions to just not do some items for whatever reason.

I would say my overall issues with this business is their consistency. I really do like this place. I just wish it was easier to actually spend my money here.

They could also use an additional person working in the front. It just seems like the person who works the front is trying to multitask and help everyone at the same time, which just feels a bit chaotic. I will say, this person is wonderful, has great customer service, but could probably use some assistance.

One of my very favorite SLC spots! Food is always amazing, I’ve seriously never had anything I didn’t love! The staff rock, and Chef Fee is incredible! Thank you, Sweet Hazel! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

I have been going here for years and would generally give 5 stars but today was below unsatisfactory.

I’m not a fan of their grab and go situation since the previous location closed, but today I am in go go go mode and thought it would be convenient. Boy was I wrong.

First, one of their most popular items was not on the shelf as it usually is. So I go to order at the front. 25 minute wait… fine even though it’s not what I was expecting with the grab option SUPPOSED to be available.

I ask for curly fries with my gluten free burrito. ($27 meal mind you). After 25 minutes, my food comes out with regular fries which I don’t like regular fries (GF or not, I ordered curly fries). The host goes “well curly fries can’t be gluten free so I had to make the executive decision and that’s that and I’m running around”. Wow.

Minutes later I go up to ask for some napkins because none were provided and they don’t have any at their now 2 benches to seat in. I open up the “fresh” breakfast burrito, which is my favorite thing to get here. It was unusually very very dry and the burrito fell apart in my hands multiple times. I didn’t wanna bother the host since he is “running around”. Also, I threw all of the cold fries that I didn’t order in the trash. Please do better in 2026. Thanks. 👎.

Best vegan food in SLC. Tried every vegan restaurant and the food here was incredible. Love that there’s prepped food so we could have options at the hotel. Service is AMAZING. Can take a bit to get your order so order online if you’re in a rush.

My search for a prefect vegan Ruben sandwich has come to an end! Sweet Hazel NAILED IT! I shouldn't be suprised, everything I've ever had from there has been fantastic. From the McHaze to the Ruben to the cakes and the candies ,everything they make is delicious!

We always stop by on our way through town, I absolutely love their food and candy bars. I have a dairy allergy and its so nice to be able to enjoy their whole menu without having to ask a million questions about how things are cooked. Also their candy bars are amazing!!

I really enjoyed the fries and the mini cake (the ‘Better Than Sex’ cake was moist and delicious). The half-California burger was good, though it didn’t quite stand out as much as the other items. Love that they have the half sizes. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-09

I thought this was going to be more like the place they had on 72nd. Food was good, so was the service. They had a couple tables, but this is more a grab and go place as indicated on their front door.

Sweet Hazel is amazing! I've been here a few times and loved everything I've tried. Their sandwiches are my favorite! The staff are wonderful and it's such a cozy vibe. They seem pretty busy so I had to wait a while but the food was worth it. I'd recommend ordering online to avoid a long wait
