We stopped in for dinner and the food was good. Kitchen was quite slow and our order was delivered in a way that some of our party were done eating while others have not received their food yet.

I truly wish I had taken the time to read all of the reviews before deciding to dine at this restaurant. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in a long time, both in terms of food quality and portion size. I have never encountered a restaurant that was so cheap with the quantity of food being served while simultaneously charging such inflated prices.
The kids’ meal was especially shocking. The fries that came with it were literally eight pieces or fewer, which is unacceptable by any standard. The cheeseburger entrée was equally disappointing—it looked more like a compact mini beef slider than a full-sized burger. The portions across the board were extremely small, and the quality did not justify the cost. The prices of the food did not reflect the menu descriptions, portion sizes, or overall dining experience.
The service only added to the frustration. The waitress seemed forgetful and inattentive. She never asked what type of drinks we wanted and showed little concern for customer service. On top of that, the food took much longer than expected to arrive, especially considering how minimal the portions were.
To make matters worse, the dessert prices were just as unreasonable. The berry cheesecake cost about $9 for a single slice, which felt completely unjustified given the overall experience. The most concerning issue, however, came when we reviewed our receipt and discovered that an $18 gratuity had been charged twice, totaling $36. This error went unnoticed by the waitress and had to be brought to her attention by my husband. While the manager did eventually refund the extra $18, this situation should never have happened in the first place.
Overall, this restaurant fell short in every major area—food quality, portion size, pricing transparency, and service. My advice to anyone considering dining here is to carefully read the reviews beforehand and, if you do choose to eat here, double-check your receipt before leaving. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

not good. our server was rude (condescending, i asked if they had espresso to add to my coffee and she giggled as she walked away and said no sorry with the most condescending voice) the coffee tasted like water, the hash browns tasted like they were deep fried in oil that hadn’t been changed in weeks.

I've been one of Lisa's customers since she opened her first place in the old truck stop, but here lately I've been disappointed because a person that comes in for breakfast and drops a 20.00 dollar bill should not be leaving still hungry, they have cut the portions back to the point I ate my hash browns in 3 bites, the toast is now one slice of bread instead of 2, im sorry Lisa but your taking it to far, and im willing to tell you who I am this is Jim Clayton, now I've been a good customer for you over all these years but im not sure im coming back because I feel ripped off

Lisa, your pricing your meals right out of reach, way too expensive for average restaurant. Steak was gristle and not worth $29.00

Fun country dining experience. Service was good and kind. Food was good. The kids had a burger and chicken strips. They enjoyed them. The adults had a turkey club sandwich and a fish sandwich. Both enjoyable. We also shared a slice of cheesecake. It was yummy. We didn't have issues dining here on our pass through north.
