Ryan had another career that he left to pursue his passion for great food and happy people, and he's a master at both! I have noticed the long lines at his food truck, and recently was introduced to his catering. It was FANTASTIC! Brisket was fall apart tender, with a tasty smoke ring and excellent spices. Moist, flavorful, lean, and tender, it hits all the marks! BBQ chicken was similarly tender, moist, flavorful, and lean. His homemade sauce was delicious. Side salads, rolls, coleslaw, and potato salad were incredible. And then, peach cobbler that is a hot, tasty, and perfected ending. Every single step was amazing and the work of a true master of the craft.

I work for First Colony Mortgage as the events manager, and we had RJ BBQ cater for us! They went above and beyond for us! They delivered to our location, brought all of the serving utensils, and went above and beyond. Ryan is SO kind, accommodating, and his food was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

we found this place with a google search for any catering we could find for our daughter's wedding in UT this past summer. we were planning a wedding in Fillmore, UT from Florida. When BBQ came up it was a good option for her "ranch wedding". But this turned out to be far better than just a good option. this was the best possible way to go. the pricing is fair and reasonable. the amount of food was way beyond what it says it is recommended for. the quality is superb. EVERYONE loved the food and kept asking where we found this bbq. The delivery was on time, he laid it out beautifully and efficiently before I could even get over to greet him. he has more professionalism and competency than I have experienced in a long time. The owner was kind, gracious and wonderful to work with.He eased this part of the wedding planning tremendously for us. I honestly cannot say enough about this place. we had so much left over we were able to send food home with out of town guests, and we were able to eat for days following the wedding. THE BEST SERVICE AND THE BEST BBQ AND bbqSIDES we have ever had!!! so grateful for this find!!

Info for the owner: tonight we had this at the Spanish fork park and I ate the potato salad and two different times I bit on something hard like a rock or something. It was real small but a rock consistency to explain this the best I can. Not 100 percent what it was but wanted to share what it was like or felt like I was chomping down on a small rock.

The bread was pretty stale and the pulled pork was dry :/. I loved the sides. Coleslaw and baked beans were delicious but the sandwich was just not good. Which is why I ordered what I ordered.

The brisket was soooo juicy and full of delicious flavor as it melted in my mouth. Seasoned to perfection. The pulled pork was tender. Combined with their smokehouse sauce it was incredible. It’s been tough to find good sides at bbq joints and the Mac salad was good but my favorite were the baked beans. One of my top 5 bbq joints in all of Utah.
