Shake That Cake — Premium Cake-Shakes

I'm not entirely sure why this specialty dessert eatery is located outside failing businesses and discount stores. The location could be better for something that is meant to be an extra treat, and often an impulsive one.

The cake is frozen, and then chopped up or layered in a cup, with some Walmart brand vanilla ice cream and jelly flavored strawberry flavoring. Nothing too special about this--- as it can be easily replicated. There were sometimes odd cold or chewy chunks that texturally seemed off while eating it.

While I admire the business venture, a dessert place with 3 options, in a odd part of town just didn't do it for me.

I had great cosumter service.

The machine to process your payment didn't always work though, which gave me even more time to second guess my impulse to try one of these treats.

Interesting concept, not sure if we'll go again. Tasted like cake mixed with ice cream. It's sweet and sure it tastes good. Seems expensive for what it is though. Could easily make this at home if you wanted to and save a bit of the cost with the flavors you want to go with it.

Extremely disappointed with this place! the cake was tough and dry and the ice cream had little to no flavor and had an icy texture like it was freezer burnt.

The cake shakes are fantastic of course, but we’ll always come back because of the cute couple that owns the place! They’re so friendly and personable! I’m so glad they added the mini size, it is just perfect.

These guys deserve all the love! We pulled in just as the owners were arriving, they opened just to accommodate us- it was so kind! And the cake shakes… love at first bite! The cake and ice cream combo is a dream and the consistency is perfect. Delicious! We will be back for sure! Thanks Shake That Cake!

This place is a must try!! We love it, and all of their flavors are delicious!!!

Such a good idea and it was SO yummy! We got the lemon blueberry and the strawberry shortcake. My favorite was definitely the lemon blueberry. We loved it and will be going back again and again!
