Hug-Hes Restaurant and Catering

I just got a to go order from here. I have been going to hughes for years and don't know if it is under new management or what.. but not only got the wrong order but it was the worst food I have had in my life...seriously! I ordered frsh shrimp cocktail and git some warmed up shrimp that tasted awful and old and tried to order beef and vegetables on a skewer and they honestly stated that they didn't have this even though it was on menu but they had no idea!! But tonight was so awful right down to customer service, I will not be giving them business and they are way expensive for crummy food and awful service..I canonly assume it's new owners!

We just discovered this little gem in North Ogden. Excellant food with many choices.
Clean comfortable atmosphere and fast friendly service. We will visit often.

The service was excellent, with a solid atmosphere and good food.
I'm forced to acknowledge, however, a curious instance that took place while my girlfriend and I had dinner here.
One of the busboys seemed to be constantly giggling to himself throughout the entirety of our meal. This is nothing strange itself, sometimes I remember a joke and laugh to myself at times, but when what appeared to be a chicken bone fell out of one of his pant legs I began to be concerned. Nothing else of note happened that night until I caught the boy staring at us through some of the decorative foliage, I managed to snap a picture as it went on for a while.
He kept humming the phrase "tasty, tasty, tasty!"
Again and again.
Overall, it was a wonderful night.

We like Hug hes a bit and the food is always good. Tonight the server was good but kept getting side tracked or something.

My main complaint is about their tipping options. 20%, 25%, 30%... How about paying your own employees a little instead of expecting patrons to start their tip off at 20 percent and going up to 30 percent with it.

I genuinely hope that I’m misreading the situation I just experienced but I just came in to pick up a to-go order, tipped the 15% portion which there were no lesser options putting my tip at $6. I always hesitate since im always getting items missing from my to-go orders. One of the two girls ringing me up grabbed the receipt, showed it to the other girl and with a sour attitude said “it’s 6” and just walked away without saying anything else and the other girl rolled her eyes. If I see those two girls again I am not tipping them again. Only giving 3 stars because my order thankfully wasn’t messed up and I love Hug-he’s food.

Love their food and service was super

I know prices have gone up everywhere, but the salad we ordered was not worth $17. It was just bagged lettuce with about six very thin slices of a very thin steak. The beer bread yummy but undercooked and doughy.
It's beautiful inside. It was a wonderful reprieve from the heat. Our waitress was young and inexperienced but kind and attentive.
