Kirt's drive-in has a small dine in area as well. It has a small town charm to it. It almost reminds me of the small roadside diners along route 66 back in the 60s and early 70s. The food is fantastic and made from fresh whole foods. The service is good, but they don't pay as much attention to their dining area. It just needs a little cleaning so that you're not picking tables based on whether it's clean or not

Just like I remember from my youth. Drive up to a Call button, read the menu, decide what you want, press the Call button and a waitress walked out to take my order.Several unique drink options, I chose The Schuckster (Coconut, Lemon and Mountain Dew). My burger - the Cowboy Joe (patty, lettuce, onions, onion rings, bbq sauce, Swiss cheese - I skipped the jalapenos) was delicious. Waffle fries were terrific.What didn't I get? Any kind of dipping sauce for my fries (not even ketchup packets) or napkins, maybe because I ordered to go.

Update: I came in 40 minutes before closing and was far from the last person there. They took 20 minutes for them to very reluctantly took my order for them to get it to me at 9:55 as I waited till closing along with a lot of other people many, I was the only person that got service! My order; the fries and chicken strips were good and the banana split great but the fried ice scream scone was nothing but two scoops of vanilla completely melted with three undercooked scones floating in it.Previous review:Since the new owner the food has gone down hill, the ice cream is still great though.I do not recommend anything but icecream everything else I had was greatly disappointing.

The food was seriously, seriously good. Best hot dog of my life. Maybe I'm biased since I was so hungry when I came, but I guess the only way to know is to try it yourself. The service was quick, and the server was very courteous and polite, despite the windy night we came. Definitely go for that footlong hot dog friends, and don't pass on the sundae ?

The food is good, the car hop was nice. The pumpkin cheesecake shake wasn't very good, but it was okay. I have eaten here for years and will continue to do so. The rest of the shakes are good.Update: 5⭐->1⭐ I dunno what happened to Kirts, but I went there today and had one of the worse experiences I've had at a food place in a long time. There was one car that was there when we got there and they got their food and left pretty quick. We pushed the buzzer to order pretty fast and nothing happened. They just turned off the buzzer. We waited 10 minutes and nothing. The waiter ran the food and check to the only other car there and they left. As they ran the check we yelled to the waiter if they were going to be able to take our order soon. They ignored us and went back inside. We were the only car there at this time and watched them goofing off for at least another 10 minutes. We pushed the buzzer again and finally someone took our order. We then waited about 30 mins for our food. When it was delivered, the food was all cold. They were also out of a shake we had ordered, not a big deal, but they should've told us sooner. We also ordered a kids meal and didn't get the drink with it. We paid and had to come home to heat up the food we purchased. The kids fries were also seasoned differently than the normal fries and the kids fries were spicy??? In total we were there for close to an hour mostly just waiting. It was very frustrating. There was a lot of staff inside doing nothing while we were there.
