“Fresh food, really packs a lot of flavor. The asada had a perfect char to it, and the adobada flavor was a delight. I feel like the prices are lower than quite a few taco stands in the valley, but the quality is definitely not lacking. I will be back for sure!“

“The tacos here are fantastic. The lengua is incredibly tender and moist, the carnitas are full of flavor, and the buche is also excellent. I really enjoy this place, and they even have a seating area. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in SLC. Some stuff sells out towards the end of the day.“

“Had lunch from Tacos el Gordis today with my colleague and we are both blown away. We've both no strangers to food trucks and carts, but Tacos el Gordis blows them out of the water. I had the cubana torta and my colleague had the asada burrito and we loved every single bite. I will be coming back here because quite honestly, the food is better than 90% of what's out there.“

“Had this for a friend’s wedding. They were very friendly and food was hot and there wasn’t really a wait time. They were very fast. Only complaint is they had no cheese for the tacos but provided all other toppings. All in all the tacos were amazing!“

“This is my go to. I don’t think anywhere else cures hunger pangs or depression quite like here honestly. The shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious. Bizarre to think you’d find awesome seafood tacos in salt lake at a taco cart. But everything is good. Great lengua also!“
