We’ve been to R&R bbq several times and have never been disappointed. We’ve always had excellent service, the food is always the right temp I.e. hot foods hot, cold food cold. The only thing that could use attention would be the counter- spilled drinks, a little spilled sauce, etc. All in all, R&R is tasty and a great treat.

R&R BBQ is a pretty good BBQ franchise place for utah, but that's not saying much. Extremely salty.
With that said, we do really enjoy the loaded nachos. Honestly it's really the only thing i look forward to going there for. The platters are just too greasy and salty. That would be passable, if it wasn't for the fact that it's very hit n miss between times where the food is very dry/old, vs very juicy and fresh.
Pretty much recommend the loaded nachos, nothing else. oh and dont get them as a pickup order. I think they load it with the oldest meat first if you do that or something. The odds of the old/dry meat jumps if ordering pickup

Once more, enjoyed an amazing dinner & got to catch up with dear friends! Just the best!!! And that Beef Briscuit Salad will never disappoint!!!❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been coming here off and on for over a year and needless to say 8/10 times if u come after 6 PM they are out of a bunch of sides and almost out of brisket every time you’d think management would do a better logistics job in keeping their best sellers in stock for dinner time

The staff treated us so well as we entered just before closing on a Friday after racing from a football game. Total opposite of the usual experience anywhere with late night guests. With limited options left, they pulled together a nice platter for a hungry crew of four. Best of all they were gracious as we sat inside away from the cold. Thank you Annalise, Alisa, Eddie, Evan. We will be back because of you.

Dropped in for lunch. The good (ribs) were delicious as were the sweet potato fries. Food arrived quickly and was hot. The restaurant was clean and the music was fun.
The manager, Hayley, runs the show like a boss! Excellent service and very personable.

Visited the north salt lake location on 11/4 at around 12:30-1:00pm.
Overall, this experience was awful. Brisket was dry, and the loaded brisket mac and cheese was also incredibly dry and not very “loaded”. In addition to our meals, we ordered 2 pounds of brisket, half sliced and half chopped. The sliced portion was ATLEAST 1.5” thick. WAY too thick. And the chopped portion was PURE fat. It was hard to find actual meat within the fat.
The restaurant was busy and the employee’s seemed very disorganized. There was No manager in sight. Other than some guy in a flannel shirt with a R&R branded backpack and laptop that went and sat down and got onto his computer and watched as the entire place was struggling. If he wasn’t a manager, he seemed to be some upper level management, nonetheless, he should have been helping more than just sitting down. Assisting the store FIRST and then writing his report or responding to his email later on his own time. Just Seems incredibly unprofessional and unproductive.
The employees could have really used some assistance, they were clearly understaffed and stressed out. Especially some girl with gauges and black hair. She was running all over frantically and complaining about things left and right. We interacted with her at the end when our order was complete and she was incredibly rude and made it seem like she just wanted us to leave because I had asked for an extra sauce. Not a very inviting experience.
After spending $100 AND leaving a tip on a to go order (which I thought was pretty generous), I anticipated a higher quality of food and a better customer service experience.
Realistically, this place seems to not have great guidance in terms of general management AND upper level management. Makes you wonder how high up the disorganization and lack of leadership goes.
It’s hard to WANT to return somewhere and spend that amount of money at a place that clearly doesn’t really care about your business. I will choose to go somewhere else in the future.
