The food was fine, the servings were generous. The service was ok, professional, if not friendly. Great views! Breakfast was ok - an ok choice. Lunch was a sandwich - it was fine.

French fries crunchy and not cooked. Burger cold. Mash potato so salty you have to drink a gallon of water. Strew was nice on the way down but gave us food poisoning. And super expensive. Suggest going down the road to the restaurant at Goulding‘s. But ….. the young staff were awesome and nice :-). …. Even though the older staff at checkout and in charge are very condescending. :-(

We chose to order to go and took the food back to our room. We ordered some local specialties and thought they were very good. The Navajo stew was especially enjoyable—rich and flavorful, and it paired really well with the flatbread that came with it.

After reading many negative reviews beforehand, I felt that choosing the local specialties might be a safer option than ordering typical American items like burgers or fried chicken—and for us, that turned out to be the right choice.

Loved this place and it was pitch black, so no view to counter anything. I got the chili and pork soup with a side of corn and it was superb! I think the key here is to get local dishes or ask your server what they would recommend. I get the sense that if you're ordering a burger or a grilled cheese yes it just came off a truck (and so did you for that matter!) the staff here is very friendly, young, and vibrant. Highly recommend the stew!

OK this restaurant has one asset, the amazing view you get from up there ! The food and service were unfortunately not at the level, it could be a gem.

Well, it’s your only option if you hungry guys, but I highly recommend to hold your hunger to the next place if possible, the service is low, the food is low quality and taste, but the prices…are high.

Great awesome views but you pay for it from what I seen Gouldings had a much better restaurant.

Despite asking waitress for starter (wings) to come out first before mains (entries) and waitress writing this down what happens but everything arrived all at once, and we are told they do not have facility to keep mains warm. Fries on the mains plate were already cold and disgusting – staff did not seem to care as this is the only restaurant at the hotel on the reservation. For the very expensive hotel rooms, they really need to improve the restaurant service and experience. As an indication of the poor services, this is the only location in the US where we gave zero tip for obvious reason.

Take your Winter jacket with you, they would line to get you out asap! food is the most bad one we had during our entire trip. The server asked us if everything is fine and after our no, she just walked away…. Avoid this place !

I recently stayed at the hotel. Dinner here was okay. Not spectacular. Just okay. I had the John Wayne burger when I visited recently.

Breakfast was not good at all, especially the eggs. Everything tasted overcooked.

Not brilliant food! Infact it is absolutely terrible, maybe the worst meal we've ever had!!!!!
We had to eat here because we were staying at the View Hotel. My advice is...... definitely stay at the hotel, but take your own food and beverage. Do not eat in the hotel, it's not good, breakfast is bad too! But definitely stay at the hotel for the sunrise view and experience at Monument Valley.

We’ve been to and eaten Navajo tacos at Antelope Canyon, Four Corners, and here. Interesting how each area has a completely different taco - different beans, different toppings, different dough, and different prices. This was by far the worst. And for $25? With a side of bleached rice? The dough was a pita.

Restaurant looked nice inside.
