Most authentic Ramen in Utah County. I lived in Japan for over 5 years. Gyoza are out of this world. Karage was also fantastic! Oh, and seaweed salad was spot on. High recommend.

Great food. They didn't have air conditioning going. We mentioned it and then they turned it on but with a small seating area right next to the hotel kitchen it never cooled off. Usually you will have to wait for seating as the food is sooo good and people know about it.

The ramen here is great. The space is small and the wait can be long but the food is worth it.

This place used to be my all time favorite!! But after the last 3 times (i like to give chances) it has gotten saltier and saltier each time. The green onion and woofers mushrooms have also gotten less and less. I just wish they were as consistent as they used to be 3-4 years ago. Very unfortunate considering how close i live to them and now have to drive all the way up to PG 😭

I love this resturant, it is by far the best ramen I have ever had, Love the hole in the wall vibes as well. I have been here many many many times and its usually all been great! But I visited on 7/28/2025 and the second you walked in it smelled like someone had dumped moldy water all over the floor. The smell gave my wife a headache, our table was tacky feeling had the smell so bad to the point that we left. it's like the place was cleaned with dirty rags. Please fix this, if it continues I would have a hard time ever eating here.

So...I love Asa Ramen. I hate that I have to write this review. I've been coming here for a long time. It's always been incredible and super consistent.

I have literally no idea what's going on or why, but i've been here three times in the last six weeks and every single time it seriously stunk. i mean it SMELLED. it's like...body odor or rotten fish or mildew or something? it's insane how strong and overpowering it is, you can smell it as soon as you open the door, and after i left last time i could literally smell it in my hair, my beard, and in my hand. if you get takeout you'll smell it on the bag. it's also like 100 degrees in there with seemingly no fan or air conditioning, so all together it's just absolutely unbearable eat here. the food was still pretty good but at this point the smell is so bad that i genuinely don't feel comfortable eating it, there's no way that something making a smell like this ISN'T a health risk.

Maybe the air conditioner is broken or something and it's making this horrible smell? i have no idea, and i feel bad for the workers having to tolerate it all day. the owner needs to fix this ASAP because i just straight up can't come here anymore. the majority of the most recent reviews are ALL about the smell. seriously, don't come here for a while.

Their food is delicious but last time i went there with my son, the smell at the restaurant was disturbing. We wanted to eat there but we couldn't handle the smell, we told the waiter that we were leaving due to the bad smell and he apologized. He did not give any explanation about the smell so i dont know what happened cause I've been there other times and never had this smell before. Even my son noticed it. I hope they can fix that cause I remember their food is really good.

I absolutely love eating at Asa and come here weekly, but in the summer time it is unbearably hot in the restaurant. I'm not sure if their air condition doesn't work or if it is just too weak to cool the dinning area. The staff are amazing and we feel so bad for them seeing them run around sweating.

Unfortunately my fiance and I might have to start cutting back on eating here until summer is over or until they do something about the heat. My fiance as severe asthma and cannot bare the heat for that long for us to enjoy their food.

To Asa,

You have the best ramen in the area. PLEASE get better air conditioning!
