Tea Mate in Orem is hands down my favorite tea spot. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who genuinely care about their customers. It’s the kind of place that instantly feels inviting and peaceful, perfect for catching up with friends, studying, or just taking a quiet break during the day.
Their matcha is unmatched. It’s smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, just pure matcha perfection. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and know how to prepare it right. I’ve tried matcha from so many different cafes, but Tea Mate’s is on another level.
The drinks are always beautifully made, and the presentation is just as impressive as the flavor. I also love that they have a great variety of teas and add-ons, so there’s always something new to try.
If you’re in Orem and love tea, or even if you just want to try something refreshing and unique, Tea Mate is a must. Their matcha alone is worth the trip, and once you try it, you’ll definitely be coming back!

The lady was so nice and incredibly quick making our drinks! Drinks were delicious, but I’d definitely recommend getting 50 or 75% sweetness; we got 75 and they are very sweet.

The boba was good, but unfortunately I don’t think the guy working here had the best attitude or really care getting our order right. The place is kinda boring compared to other boba shops and pretty much it’s not like I want to come back here.
Had my first popping boba tea here last week. I ordered a passion fruit Galaxy Tea with mango popping boba. It was really good! I should have asked them to make it a bit less sweet which is an option, but I really enjoyed the experience and will be back for sure to try more flavors.
