This restaurant needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
Always a good visit whenever I come.
Lots of variety and delicious food. Friendly staff.
Chuck-A-Rama has been in Utah for decades. It's a good place to go when you're hungry, you don't want to wait for a waiter to take your order or for your food to be prepared, and you want to just walk in and start eating. It's not the fanciest place on the planet, but there is a good variety of food that you might expect to find at a typical buffet. I think it's a little bit pricey for what you get, but it doesn't keep me from visiting there now and then for a large family gathering.
Tasty options, great to go with family with different tastes and diets. I like how clean the restaurant is and that everyone left with a satisfied tummy.
It is a pretty decent buffet! The food selection was good, the staff friendly, the food was also pretty good for a buffet. My son loved it and that they have endless Mac and cheese. I would go back!
Overpriced. I'd get as much and more than I can eat of good quality food for these prices anywhere else. The quality isn't great in comparison to other options in this price range per person. Paying excess amounts to cover the massively obese people that eat plates and more plates here.
This was my first visit to Chuck A Rama. It was a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is clean and nice. The server was always there before we even asked for anything. She was warm and welcoming and friendly! The decor was nice and warm and cozy. There were plenty of tables and booths to choose from. Everything was very clean. There were several buffet carts to choose from. There was a wide selection and variety to pick from. I went on a Saturday around 5:30 pm and it was not packed. Which was such a surprise for a Saturday evening. There were 2 salad buffets. One was the traditional salad fare. There were so many choices for salad dressing, it was unbelievable! There must have been like 9 or 10 choices. And not just your plain regular kind. It's a wide selection and oh so delicious! Then there's another buffet cart with all kinds of prepared salads. Some with pasta, coleslaw, Italian salads, potato salad, sweet salads and fruit salads and even seafood salad. There were several kind of rolls with different kinds of butter including honey butter. There are several hot buffet carts. One of the carts had a large roast with carving station. There was another cart with butterflied crispy shrimp with cocktail sauce and several different types of Italian pasta dishes. And even a large bowl of meaty spaghetti sauce for spaghetti. There were stuffed shells and lasagna. On the other hot buffet cart there were hot corn on the cob, green beans, and the best mashed potatoes and two choices of gravy. I went with the brown gravy. It was perfect and so hot and delicious! It also went well as a topping with roast! They also had fried chicken and roasted chicken. They were both large pieces and oh so succulent! The breasts were so juicy and none of the chicken was dry or overcooked. Then they also had several types of soups. I chose the creamy potato and bacon soup. It was so good!
About what you'd expect from an affordable buffet. The service was great, our waitress took great care of us and was super friendly. We had a very large group so I was impressed with her.
This was once my favorite. Such a shame there food has cut corners. The cabbage falls with ramen was my favorite. They used fresh chicken shreds. Not anymore they now use fake chunks of processed chicken. Did they think we wouldn't notice? Other things like this.. Processed food vs homemade that's there whole slogan. Boo

Pretty pricey, but not awful. The restaurant is clean and staff is usually friendly. The food isn't anything to write home about, but it's not disgusting. It's about everything you'd expect from a buffet. The one big draw is that it's a great place to bring kids with you (if you can afford it). There's so many options to pick from so you can usually find something for kids that are fussy eaters.
Oh!!! The food here is fantastic and they have the perfect mix of healthy and filling foods. Definitely come on an empty stomach though. Their roles are to die for, and it's a very classy place. Unfortunately I don't think they offer reserved seating, so it might be a bit or miss with a large group.
All you can eat buffet, with an amazing set of options. There is always something for everyone which is amazing since I have many picky eaters. We were there on Italian day and their dishes were all delicious. Will be adding this location to our regular rotation.
Really great salad bar! AND really impressed how clean and well stocked it was. We were a little disappointed there wasn’t more hot protein choices....still found plenty to eat. Very helpful staff.
Great food, reasonable price. My personal favorite fried chicken. Nothing is too spicy, but it's all well seasoned. Great German sausage on some days. Epic Mexican drinks, delicious deserts. Honestly my favorite buffet that I'll personally never stop going too.
