I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick and tired of a bunch of entitled college students lacking customer service.So, the Costa at University is not much better. Being in there was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I would much rather be naked in a snowstorm than go back to that Costa Vida.Anyways, the first person on the line doesn't ask me how I'm doing. He literally just says "what are you ordering?" and he has to ask my order twice when I CLEARLY TOLD HIM WHAT IT WAS.To make matters worse, the cashier was talking to his friend. He seemed excited to talk to his friend but not excited to talk to me.As good as Costa Vida is, it's not worth the customer service they deliver. Their Director of Operations needs to do something about this. We all have issues. It doesn't mean we shouldn't let that be an excuse to not do a good job.

I worked at the Lehi Center Point Costa Vida for 2 1/2 so I'm well acquainted with Costa's standards. This location is seriously lacking!Their Staff members have sassy, non responsive and unfriendly attitudes including the shift lead. They skimp on standard portions. The queso is clumpy and several food items are cold. I've been here several times and all of these things are consistent.They also don't accept Costa Vida Rewards or offersThe UVU food court ambience is good though.

Food was fine. It's either hit or miss here honestly. Today would have been great but around 11:30 am May 24, 2023 there was an employee at the front who was extremely rude. A friend of mine was being friendly and said "thank you so much". This employee literally rolled her eyes at my friend and made a face. Once we felt the tension we didn't bother her. However, the employee threw our food and when we asked for a water cup they cut us off and rudely responded and threw our food on the counter. That employee was making everyone uncomfortable.

Specifically talking about the UVU Campus location:Food is great as always but they do not accept any discount codes, qr codes, gift cards, and your receipt can’t be scanned for reward points. There’s nothing to indict this and they don’t tell you until you already have your food and have to pay for it.

Good food, good service. However, one of the employees was taking "shots" of sauce. Unprofessional, but what more can you expect. Food was great, but didn't sit as well after seeing this employee dip a cup into the sauce that was served to me. Really friendly, but come on, keep your ungloved hands off the sauce?
This is the third time I ordered from Costa Vida through door dash and they still got my order wrong! I’ve been trying to be a patient customer because I love Costa vida and I know they can do better then this. So please, when door dashers put in an order be sure to read what they requested and make sure the food is made correctly. These mistakes should NOT be happening often and it is very simple. Just read the request of the order!!! I just don’t understand in my order today how I got pinto beans when I specifically put black beans. I really wish I could give this Costa Vida NO STAR.

We visited on a Saturday evening and there was no line. The employees were helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and high quality. The interior of the restaurant was clean and had plenty of space to social distance.

I heard her whisper something to a coworker when she probably thought I couldn't hear. Really hurt my feelings. Definitely not going here again, telling my friends not to eat here either. I'd rather just get Panda or Chic Fil A.
