Walked through the line w a $3 taco deal in hand. We got all the way through the line to the cashier without being told that if the meal is à la carte the discount is invalid. We asked Sophie who was at the register if there was anything she could do to help us get the discount and she just said no. Completely denied us service until after we paid. When I went back to ask a manager about it she told us there wasn’t anything she could do because we paid. $6 meal turned into an $18 meal. Sophie owes us $12 on our next meal please.

I ordered a sweet pork burrito covered in red sauce, but honestly, I expected much more. The salad was tasteless and I feel disappointed, especially since I had heard great things about this place. The only highlight was the service, which was good.

The last two times I've come, the same young man serving the salads at the beginning of the line has made a big deal to his coworkers about serving exactly two ounces of meat in the salads (and I'd say if he were to weigh the portions it might be less). It looks like the tiniest amount of rice, beans, and meat. If that's the serving, that's fine, but I don't see other Costs Vidas doing that. The others just use their serving utensils to serve and be done and it feels more generous, plus the servers are focused on me the customer rather than telling the other coworkers that he's going to need exactly 2 oz more for the following customers of grilled chicken or other meats. Because it's happened twice, I will not plan to come back.

This location in particular handles gluten-friendly orders very well! I came in for some dinner, and the friendly redhead who made my meal made sure to wash her hands and change her gloves before continuing with my order to make sure there was no gluten!
