We have traveled quite a bit in Mexico over the years. Our favorite places to eat are small, home-owned, “hole in the wall” type eateries. Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. I don’t think you will be disappointed…

Horrific. I eat out a lot and have never had such a bad experience in years. Stay away from this place. The restaurant was not that busy, even with take out orders and it took 45 minutes for them to bring 2 of our 6 plates. 30 minutes after 2 in my family FINISHED their plate, they came and brought the third plate which was wrong and he had written down the rest of the order wrong. 20 minutes after that he brought out two tacos no one had ordered. And then 30 minutes after that he came and asked us what else we were waiting for. We told him again. 1.5 hours in he brought the wrong order to the table next to us and then I saw two tables over they brought a dish and then he left and that table gave the dish to the table next to them. I have never, ever seen anything like it. We gave up and paid for the 1/3 of our order that did make it to us. Food we did receive was mediocre.

Great service!! Salsa bar was quality. Food was super and they let us make modifications to fit dietary needs, no problem. Get the tomatillo sauce smothered chimichanga.

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Great food and who doesn’t love a salsa bar?! Also jalapeños and pickled onions are so good. We got a mix of items from combo plate, chimichanga, enchiladas and kids nachos. Everything is homemade and so good

Great food, great environment! It was in a convenient location for us so that was a big plus. The Birria taco was amazing and I’ll definitely be coming back for that! They offered complementary chips and salsa which is always a win and the chimichanga and asada taco were great too!
