Been coming to Ernie’s since I was in high school at their old locations in center a few doors down. I haven’t tried a sandwich I didn’t like and I’ve have the majority of the menu. The staff are always so friendly and nice and you’ll bump into Ernie in the kitchen. The Champ is a staple in my diet.

The Champ sandwich is the absolute BOMB! It tastes so good, and I highly recommend switching the cheese to pepper jack for an even better flavor.
I’m from FL. This place is 🔥. We got the Champion and skipped the ham. The bacon was good quality and was actually fully cooked. (Not a fan of raw bacon ). This place is outstanding!! Wish we had places like this back home :)

Best sandwiches we have ever had honestly. We were visiting the Salt Lake City area for a week, and we drove a little out of the way to try this place. We loved it so much we kept coming back for it and to try different sandwiches. We even stopped one last time on the way out of town. Our favorites were the Champ & the All Star! Everything was freshly made and tasted amazing.
