Best sushi I had. The cowboy one was my favorite! I wish the food did not take so long. But the taste was worth it

We were pleasantly surprised after trying this place! It's always a little risky trying out a new sushi restaurant but it was so good! The workers were so nice and helpful. We had a to go order and the sushi was amazing! I would definitely go again.

Waited 45 minutes for first roll, while tables around received multiple plates. Never checked on us or refilled drinks. Waitress spilled our soy sauce and then just walked away. Had to call her back and ask for more napkins or a cloth, especially since we only had 2 thin napkins to begin with, and we used those to stop the spread of soy as it rolled across the table. Sushi rolls were mostly ok. Got the King Crab roll which tasted strongly of burnt rice or maybe kerosene. Couldn't eat it. Only other time someone came to the table was to bring the check. Never asked how we were or if we liked it, or if we wanted a box for the uneatable roll. Very sad experience.

Over-all, I'd say 9 out of 10, maybe 9.5.The service is very fast and open to specific modifications/questions, which is refreshing to see.The quality of the sushi is also pretty good, especially considering the affordable pricing. From my experience, it seems that the people there are always genuine and nice to any and all customers, really nice environment. My only suggestion would be to either have more area for customers around grab and go section, since sometimes someone in front of me will take their time, and I can't see the available options until their done. Still excellent service though.Overall, very happy about my experience there, I highly recommend it.

Great food and excellent service! I really appreciated that they made me something special that was gluten free. It was delicious.

I have been to sushi restaurants all over the US and this is my FAVORITE!! The sashimi and nigiri are the most mouth watering, buttery, delicate slices of fish I have ever tasted. I cry each time I get the salmon and I'm usually a tuna girl! The cuts are perfectly scored, the nigiri is perfectly proportioned with the rice so each bite is perfection especially with a dab of perfectly balanced wasabi, rich well bodied house made soy sauce, and sushi rice with the perfect amount of vinegar, sweet, and sesame. The miso is perfect. I don't understand how the restaurant isn't packed full at all times, but we also enjoy the privacy! But this place deserves all the hype!!! It completely blows all nearby sushi restaurants out of the water! AND WAY BETTER PRICES!!! I worked at tsunami for two years and they have great specialty rolls, but as far as the fish itself, the chefs at Sushi Up know what they're doing! Forget Itto oishii sushiya and sushi bros just to name a few!

I wish I could give them 4 stars but I just can't. We came on a Monday for lunch and there was four of us. There were two other parties in the restaurant. Our waitress took awhile to come over and grab our drink orders. She honestly didn't seem to care very much, which was unfortunate. I liked that they had their tasty plates where you can try three different rolls (all smaller portions) for the price of one roll. I tried the Jalapeno, Vegas, and Sakura. We started with the pot stickers as well. They were actually quite nice. Crispy on the outside and hot! The sushi took at least 40 minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and they had two sushi chefs. The amount of salmon, tuna, and crab in my rolls were basically nonexistent. The Vegas roll wasn't even warm when it came out. The Sakura was the best roll but I would give it a 6/10. The service was just so slow and our waitress didn't seem to care about us. Unfortunately, I don't think I would be back anytime soon or recommend them unless they made some improvements to the food and the service. Not a quick bite like other sushi spots.

Favorite Sushi spot! Great service with every visit, and delicious food! Tried the speciality roll, the Fire Dragon and it was appealing to the eye and yummy to the tummy(:. I always get the Philly Crunch Roll and it each time I'm happier than before! We love this place and love to support!

The food is amazing and tastes incredible. The service is quick considering the time it takes to make the sushi taste amazing. It's a really clean and quiet place where you can enjoy your food in peace.

I keep coming back to this place for the delicious Elvis and happy roll. Absolutely incredible. The prices are very affordable too. I would give them 5 stars in a heartbeat if the service was better. They had 1 waitress for about 8 filled tables. It took about 20 mins before someone welcomed us at our table.

Such good quality FRESH sushi. Which is so hard to find here in Utah county. The workers are always kind and they have definitely went out of their way to make sure my food was fresh and service was top notch. It's quiet and nice inside. I just love how good the sushi is even when it's take out. Restaurants are usually lazy for take out food but sushi up to even still does great presentation. Def come here for good quality affordable sushi

I am in town on a business trip and needed to pick a place that was on the way to my hotel for a friend to pick up. I called in to place my order and was asked why I didn't just order online. I was asked to hang up and order online and call back if there were issues. Odd to me but it was fine. I placed my order and it said 15 minutes. My friend got there at the 20 minute mark because from the time I placed the order to when they got into my hotel room, it was a total of 25 minutes. When they picked up they were greeted with "finally you are here" and rude comments about how it took them so long to pick up my order. I then realized that they did not give my friends the boba I ordered so I called and let them know I am here on business and do not have a car, is there a way I could be reimbursed for the boba since I can't come back to the restaurant. I was told they could but I had to come in in order to do so because they couldn't reimburse things from their online system. My friends husband was super nice and went back to the restaurant to just pick up the drink. The boba was a bit strange. It was a thick smoothie that trapped a bunch of sweet liquid at the bottom of the cup with the boba. I love smoothies, boba, and milk teas and could only get myself to power through a little less than 1/4 of the drink. The sushi was okay. Very reminiscent of buying rolls at a Safeway/ grocery store. The mojito roll was good but was totally reliant on the dipping sauce. The food was okay but I wouldn't go back.

So so so good! Amazing menu and options for everyone. My fiancé loves raw fish, I do not. Plenty of deep-fried sushi rolls for me to choose from. Also vegetarian and non-fish entrees! We did the 3 roll special of the jalapeño roll, happy roll and friend California roll as well as edamame and gyoza. So good! We also had the house cold sake. The staff is so nice and attentive. We kept saying how nice everyone is. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely come again and again!

The sushi I ordered were good but not the dragon rolls, their katsu comes with rice but not as good as other places. Their gyozas were good and their lunch box was a big portion. The good thing about their sushi is they have 3 item combo so you can choose 3 sushi in one meal.
