the ladies in kitchen were working hard, i think the gentlemen with glasses working the cashier does not seem to care. was the only customer waiting and my order was ready and he saw it but was too busy with his earbuds in doing nothing. i finally come up to asking if my order is ready and it was ready the whole time. rushed thru my meal since i had to go to class. overall very poor experience and will not be recommending this establishment to my classmates.

I love Guru’s, but my recent experience at the UVU location was very poor. When I ordered, they were not very busy. I was told it would be about a 20 minute wait for my food which was fine. But…people who ordered after me started getting their orders well before I did. After waiting a half hour, I was brought the wrong order. I returned it to the counter and reiterated what my order should be. I thought they would promptly get my order ready. However, they worked on other orders instead of mine. I had to inquire at the counter a couple of times. It took a total of 45 minutes before I got my order. The food was good, but the wait time and was excessively long and the customer service was lacking.

Definitely NOT kid friendly. Why serve kids meals and have no changing tables in the bathrooms or high chairs. Food, service and atmosphere better at the Provo location.

I placed my order and they had one of those "please answer the questions on the screen," that included suggested tips. I refuse to leave a tip at the cashier because I haven't even been served yet - how can I determine what tip to leave? I stepped away but came back because that's where the straws were. l approached the counter from the side and even at that angle I could clearly see a popup alert in the middle of the screen that said "NO TIP ALERT. CUSTOMER LEFT NO TIP."
What does Guru's staff do with that information? Why is that an alert? it seems judgemental of customers and premature at that given that a customer could leave a cash tip after having a full experience. The implications ruined the stay for me despite the good food and service.

Yum! I've never gone to Guru's before. I know that they have a location on Center Street in Provo. They have a great menu with lots of options like sandwiches, pizza, salads, etc. They also have vegetarian options. They provide delicious lemon water and glasses which is a nice touch. Definitely worth checking out.It is on campus at UVU in the classroom building so it may be closed during school breaks.

Tl;dr: Long waits & food quality not consistent.This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and good but other times it looks or tastes old or over/undercooked. I usually take the risk but after my most recent visit I won't be coming back; the avacado in my meal looked almost rotten and there was a piece of a rubber glove in my food.If you do decide to try Gurus out, prepare for a pretty long wait. They're super short staffed and only have one cook, so my previous orders on average usually took at least 30min to fill. Not a great place if you're in a hurry.One positive: their cashier is very nice and accommodating.

Kind of the hidden gem of UVU, the vibe was too good, a ton of variety with healthy alternatives, and the food is high quality. They offer anything from soups, salads, and pasta, to tacos, burritos, and wraps. I’d say the only down side is it’s a little more pricier, which is odd considering it’s on a college campus full of broke students.

I tried Guru's cafe for the first time today, and really wish I tried it sooner. The food was absolutely delicious and make me feel both full and healthy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, nice, and professional. The wait time for food was very respectable, especially considering I went during the lunch rush. Very very good experience.

Local businesses are pretty fake with their social media. They push their content that nobody cares about just to check a box and pat their backs. It’s getting harder and harder to get responses via messenger at all, let alone in a timely manner. Guru’s was on top of it! I got a response in less than a minute and it was a real human who helped, and was super helpful. Thank you guys! Looking forward to our small catering order.
