Overall the service was great and the restaurant was clean. But the food was just bland. We even got several of the “Guru’s favorites” and they were just okay.

Cilantro Lime Chicken Quesadilla: missing the Guru’s seasoning on the outside that Provo puts on it.

MARCO POLO PASTA: dry. Ask for lots of sauce. Missing carrots.

SWEET POTATO FRIES: delicious. They don’t have ketchup.

The service was fantastic and quick and everything I ate was also very tasty and fresh!
The only downsides were the chicken in the salad was a bit dry and some of the crispy noodles were undercooked and very hard. Also, they were out of some food items and drinks.
Definitely a place I would visit again next time I am in town ?

Our extended family went to guru's after a close family member passed away. We were exhausted and hungry. I had been to the Provo location and LOVED it.

I indicated a milk/dairy allergy on my Orem guru's online order and it was ignored. I didn't realize until I took a couple bites. I asked the cook and she indicated the item didn't have milk but had ranch dressing...I didn't believe it, all restaurant ranch is made with milk. She came back later and said it did have dairy and would make me a new one. Everyone else was done eating. The food was good (except the sweet potato fries were burnt) but I was up all night in the bathroom after what was an exhausting day. I won't eat there again as the cook needs to be trained better. Both the cook and the person taking the order didn't speak English well so I'm sure something was just misunderstood but I can see problems happening in the future if they don't take food allergies seriously.

When my second (fixed) order was brought out, it had no ranch, but had sour cream on the side. I didn't eat it, but was like cmon, didn't we just confirm I have a milk allergy?

This isn't the first time this has happened at a restaurant but I won't be back to that location. The Provo location is pretty loud and the Orem is quieter

Man. Food is so good! Their fry sauce is out of this world. Worth going just for the sweet potato fries! Fun atmosphere and good food. Check it out!

I took my sister out to lunch and spent 60 for a bunch of appetizers and food we were excited to try! Long story short the food took a long time and arrived cold, literally every entree was cold, we didn’t have a server and ended up just leaving the food and left, HORRIBLE food.

Tried Guru’s for the first time on a recommendation and it did not disappoint!

The salmon tacos had such great flavor, and the Napa Waldorf salad was amazing! This is for sure a hidden gem in Orem….not super busy if you are trying to get good food on a Friday night, AND plenty of room for large groups!

Although the food was delicious…the staff was on top of it! I didn’t get all of their names, but this spunky hostess Natalie was amazing! She kept our drinks filled, and checked on us multiple times while we were dining! For sure a 5-star experience, and we
will be coming back OFTEN!!!

Probably my favorite sweet potato fries of any restaurant (upgrade your chips n salsa to the fries). I love the Salmon Tacos too!

I placed my order and they had one of those "please answer the questions on the screen," that included suggested tips. I refuse to leave a tip at the cashier because I haven't even been served yet - how can I determine what tip to leave? I stepped away but came back because that's where the straws were. l approached the counter from the side and even at that angle I could clearly see a popup alert in the middle of the screen that said "NO TIP ALERT. CUSTOMER LEFT NO TIP." What does Guru's staff do with that information? Why is that an alert? it seems judgemental of customers and premature at that given that a customer could leave a cash tip after having a full experience. The implications ruined the stay for me despite the good food and service.

Legitimately the worst prime dip sandwich I’ve ever had. This place sucks and there’s much better restaurants at Midtown 360 to choose from.

Very Meh.I came for lunch with my wife and another couple. Our friends beat us to the restaurant by about 5 min, and ordered ahead of us. They specifically asked the cashier to hold the food and bring our meals out together. We got there a couple min later, ordered, and sat down. About 5 min later, our friends got their food. I figured our order would be right behind as there was only one couple in-between our orders, so I told them to start eating. It was another 20 minutes aftet that before our food came out. By that time, our friends had finished their lunch. So, we got to have nice conversation with each couple watching the other couple consume their meal. The atmosphere is fine. Gues along with the "guru" theme you'd expect. The staff (only two in sight) were perfectly mediocre. Nothing bad, but also nothing above average as far as customer service or attentiveness.Prices weren't terrible, butane a little on the high side for what you'd expect. $12 for a reuben, and $12 for a half salad. Salad was solo, Ruben came with a small handful of Lay's chips, and a picked spear.Reuben toppings were centrally located in the middle of the sandwich, making for a meat heavy center, and solely bread and sauce on the fringes. I noticed every sandwich that came put of the kitchen after was consistent with a ball of meat in the middle. That's a pet peeve of mine, and I will point that out every time. A proper sandwich should have a bite of everything in every bite. No one should have to remake their sandwich at the table.I would go again if that's where my wife wanted to go, however I will never volunteer Guru's as a suggestion, and there's certainly nothing I would crave.
