I made a reservation over a week in advance for 2 of the pork ribs for my little family’s traditional Christmas night dinner. I scheduled to pick them up on Christmas Eve. When I got there to pick them up, waited patiently while employees tried to locate my ribs. Eventually, a lady, who I’m assuming is the manager, informed me they didn’t have any ribs for me. Apparently, despite the fact that I made a reservation, since I did not prepay they were not guaranteed. So, my first question is, what the hell is the point of allowing people to make a reservation without prepayment if you’re not going to have the item in stock? What really bothered me, however, was the complete and utter lack of customer service that was demonstrated. The woman did not once apologize. On the contrary, she stared at me unapologetically and stated, matter of factly, “we don’t have any for you.” No “I’m so sorry” or “I apologize.” Lastly, there was no attempt or offer whatsoever, on her part, to help by calling other stores to see if they had them in stock. I had to do that myself when I got to my car almost in tears at the thought that my family’s traditional meal wasn’t going to happen. Call me crazy or old fashioned but I just think customer service means doing a little more than what she did. At least, it did when I worked in the customer service industry. Thankfully, a store 25 minutes away had some so I was able to get my ribs… no thanks to the people at the Orem location.

We received a gift for a ham from here this year. I wondered why it was so pricey for this ham, but I did notice a difference in taste from the typical grocery market ham. It was delicious! Very professional service.

Incredible food. Incredible owners. We went in at 6:18 just before they closed and they were still able to feed us and get us out before closing. Very friendly and will definitely be returning soon.

Amazing people. Super accomodating. I was truly amazed at the small town feel and welcoming atmosphere that the general managers and employees gave us. Also the food is absolutely phenomenal. Stop going to subway and get your hiney to the orem honey baked ham.

I had the Tavern sandwich, and it was so good! I really liked how they made the red onions a little more tame and the meats had really good flavor. I would come here again!
