It's been a long time since we've experienced service like this! Amazing. This place has all the cool kids working there. We've been to lots of restaurants in Utah, and we miss really great hospitality. We found it. So fast, so kind, so attentive so genuinely concerned about your experience there. They make time to make a personal connection to us and everyone else around us. We loved it! Cool vibes. Pure kindness. Looks like we're going back again soon for the grits. Thank you Joe for the free sample! I promise I won't order the crispy hash browns next time..... even though they were amazing. Food was delicious. Steak and eggs were cooked just right. And the cook came out to make sure I was happy with it. The burgers there are 8oz patties! My smoken hot wife thought she wouldn't be able to eat it all, but she did. Too delicious to waste. So ya.... Can't wait to go back. A little cramped inside. But outside patios are very cool! Maybe someday they will get a bigger place, but let's not. It's perfect.
Bad place to have brunch, the meet was not tasty
By far the best service we have ever experienced in the food industry. The grits were simply the best and the atmosphere is unmatched. Our toddler is beyond picky when it comes to food and was unwilling to try what we got him. Joe brought him out a kids pancake without us asking and a toy. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Joe’s has been our favorite place to go eat breakfast! The breakfast burrito is MASSIVE. The salsa is delicious and the grits are to die for. Ana’s omelette is always another go to! Thank you Joe for being a spirited restaurant owner and providing a wonderful place for everyone. Thank you to all your servers for treating us like family.
Great food but you know, I know times are tough, but something broke in me when I saw a side (4 whole sliced) of bacon for $7.50, that’s more than a whole subway sandwich, my water tasted like dirt, my OJ was a tiny glass of the very cheapest watery stuff; the omelet was great, but at some point you push it too far. Been coming on and off for over 5 years but think that’s my last visit. Ya hate to see it. Better options exist.
Joey and Ana make the experience personal, fun, and special. And the breakfast is high quality too
Joe's was FANTASTIC!!! Joe was out and about talking and cutting up with all the customers! Great food and great energy! The staff was great!
Usually quick efficient service. Today it took 3-4 minutes to be acknowledged at the cashier. I asked if the could put my order in 2 boxes since I was splitting the Joe’s Omelet order which is a big breakfast. The girl was nice and said no problem we can do that. So as I waited no problem with waiting since I ordered takeout a few different workers asked if I’ve been helped and I said yes. Another worker said we will have your order soon. So it’s taking awhile and I look where they have to go orders on a small shelf and guess what it’s there and ready. I have no idea how long it had been there but very frustrating because they knew I was standing and waiting. Joe usually greets many customers but he was on the grill and busy giving families little cars for kids. I have no idea why none of the employees had any self awareness since I was the only takeout person waiting. All other customers were sitting and eating. I really like the place and frequent it a fair amount but today was a low bar of service. A 2 rating on today’s efforts.
Love the food here but love the people more. Our family is always made to feel so welcome.
From our son being gifted both a toy car and Joe’s special juice (mango blend, I may have stolen a sip), to Joe letting you know it’s time to leave so someone else can have the table, in a way that makes you laugh and get up and leave smiling, you’re made to feel like family.
Joe’s is a favorite and Joe is an institution. If you come here, you get it. If you haven’t been, you should visit and try the best grits in Utah. You’ll leave feeling like family and planning your next visit.
Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building.

Wait, how have I not reviewed Joes!!!??? This place is great. A time piece and a different kind of place in the middle of Utah (Orem). Awesome for breakfast. Just so good. The atmosphere is great. Never been on Saturday morning before -- it was hoppin' !!! Got some over-easy with perfect hash browns, sourdough toast, brilliant bacon and a sunny orange juice. Loved it. Did you know you can try legit grits? Go to Joe's and make a new friend :)

Joe's cafe is now one of my favorite cafes in Utah. It was a truly wonderful experience. The first thing you will notice is that the walls are covered in photos of all the guests and Joe through out the years, and he is still taking pictures. Coming to Joe's Cafe is meeting the man in his element, he is a joy to be around and his staff have the same feeling. All joyful, fun, and truly seem to want to be here.
The food omg the food! So good! I have never had Grits before but where absolutely lovely. The Denver Omelet tasted so good! Something I will definitely get again!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The food was subpar, cold, and had a hair on the pancake. Service was awful. Never was given a water but my friend gave me theirs. No refills. Rushed out the door.
