KELOKE DOMINICAN RESTAURANT

I placed a Thanksgiving food order a week in advance and was given a price over the phone by someone named Juan. Today, on Thanksgiving Day, I called to confirm and pick up my order, only to be told they didn’t have it, my phone number wasn’t noted, and they could only offer me a different order at a higher price.

When I explained this wasn’t what we agreed on, the staff member spoke to me as if I was lying. She called Juan, and he claimed he never spoke to me and didn’t know who I was. I asked if they could prepare the order later, but she said no. Instead, she told me they had an order available now but again insisted on charging me the higher price.

When I expressed frustration about this terrible service, she said, ‘Well, don’t buy it then,’ and hung up on me.

This experience was not only disappointing but also incredibly unprofessional, especially on a day meant for gratitude and togetherness. Treating customers this way is unacceptable, and I hope they reconsider how they handle situations like this in the future.

Kathy called me 10 minutes later to apologize for what happened and assured me that I could pick up my order. She was very kind, honored the original price I was given, and had my order ready quickly. However, I must point out the poor service from the young woman I spoke with earlier. She did not give me her name, treated me as if I were lying, and her attitude left much to be desired. I appreciate Kathy’s assistance, but the overall experience highlights the importance of improving customer service.

Food is just like Mami used to make. So authentic. Portions are huge. Yucca is best I've ever had. Nice juices too. Definitely going back. Great service. Love the roasted chicken and locrio.

Once again, I always frequented this place with my family but this is the second time that they have left us without serving us for serving gringos, we were in our line waiting to be served in front of a gringo family and there were 4 people serving them and giving them the products they asked for, When our turn came they simply told us they should wait for them to give them a note... THEY SIMPLY DISGUST LIKE THE LATINOS THAT THEY ARE, BECAUSE THEY ARE DOMINICAN LATINOS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE IN THE UNITED STATES THEY ARE LATINOSSSSSSSS, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT UNDESIRABLE PLACE

Everything was delicious! Huge portions for a good price. Meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Totally worth a drive from Salt Lake just to eat here.
