My wife and I always go to KOU in Midvale. The quality in meats are similar between the two but the service are 2 different worlds. I understand they were busy but our server didn't check on us even after we finished an order of meat. We had to flag down another server to get some help. Then once we went to pay I told our server about how it was our 1st time there and about how much bigger the Orem location is compared to Midvales. She just handed us our receipt and sent us on our way. I get it shes not obligated to talk to us. But sheesh blantly ignored. Wow exactly what the service felt like, ignored.
If you had the option to go to the one in Midvale. Stick to that one. Service is great, fast, and friendly.

The food in this place is not of good quality. The ribeye steak was more grissle than meet. They don’t clean their shrimp and have the waste intestine still in the shrimp. I enjoyed the beef bulgolgi. Not coming back.

Great place to eat. I love how accommodating the staff is. Also gratuity charge for 5 or more, waiter said not tip required with gratuity charge. Most place put the gratuity and then expect a tip on top. I will definitely be coming back.

Have been going here for the past year once or twice a month and really enjoy it. However they got rid of their beer and alcohol menu and it’s really disappointing. It worked really well with the food and was a lot of fun to go out with friends. Really hope they bring it back.

This place doesn't look as good as the other KOU. Also the server purposely charged 20% tip before I gave him the receipt for a tip. I checked my transaction on my card and it was the exact price for a 20% tip. So don't come here you might get scammed.
