This place is a staple in our family! Every time we go we run into neighbors and friends.❤️
There were two couples in our party and we both went in with the starving students Bogo coupons. They would not allow us to use one per couple. It was one per table. We therefor decided to buy the daily special, which would’ve cost about the same and the waitress told us we could buy any of the specials Monday through Friday not just the day we were there but did not bother to tell us that it was $.75 more if we bought any other day other than when we were there. The waitress messed up on two of our meals and brought the wrong ones and then tried to charge us $.75 each. The food was decent. The salsa is fantastic, but we won’t go back again because of the stingy service.

We have been to many many Mexican restaurants and we rarely scrape our plate, but this food was delicious! The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, but the food makes up for it. We will be back!

The food was so good the first time, we drove 30 minutes the next weekend for another taste! The Chili Rellenos is incredible and the tamales are the best I’ve had not sold in a parking lot. I would post photos but I can’t resist eating long enough to snap one. As another testimonial, my very picky 6 year old ate their kids quesadillas.

Traditional Mexican with great pricing. Consistent options that are always great no matter the time of day. For sure a must stop for their traditional dishes.

Dined here many times. The food is incredibly consistent. The flour tortillas are always hot and fresh. My one negative is that every steak dish I’ve ever gotten has always been dry due to the thin cuts. Other than that, I feel as their dishes are well balanced. Prices are fair. This place is worth giving a try! (Would give a 4.5 if I could)
We've been eating at mama chus for years. It's a family favorite. Good food, good prices. Abd good people.
It is a wonderful place! I brought some residents from a senior living facility, and they were so helpful and so quick to help with their individual needs. I had the chicken enchiladas, and they were so good! And I'm kind of picky when it comes to enchiladas. It's an amazing place, and I 10/10 would and will recommend! We were greeted like old friends and it was so homey. If I ever found myself in a position to own a restaurant, Mama Chus is what I would hope it would be like!
This is a little hole-in-the-wall place withe great, fresh food and good service. This is our go-to Mexican food when we’re in Utah Valley. We have yet to be disappointed here!

Reservation was given away and the owner was rude about it. Didn’t get any attempt at accommodating us.
great place and over the top service. the employees really do give 110% to make your experience good! food is quick and tasty. complimentary salsa is delicious and spicy. whether you’re coming here after a day in the canyon, or just for a good meal, this is a great place to go. everything is homely and clean, even if it feels a little outdated. love this place!
Very loud but good food & great service.
Second time here and great food, but today bad service! I had gotten my food and had eaten a few bites, and decided to go to the restroom. When I came back, my table was cleared. I asked what happened, and the bus lady said Oh no, I thought you had left. No discount or replacement of food was offered. Only a small to go diet coke.
We were in Orem for dinner and saw that this restaurant had 4.5 ratings, so we were looking forward to some good Mexican food. We were disappointed. The flavors were OK, but the biggest disappointment was that everything was soggy. The refried beans were soupy, the chile rellano had a plain tomato sauce (no seasoning) which was very wet. Consequently, everything was soggy - the enchilada tortillas, what should have been crisp breading on the chile rellano and the rice. This seemed to fill its the flavors of everything. We won’t be back.
