This McDonald’s location is the worst! I waited in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes and didn’t move! So I went inside and thought it would be quicker. The lobby was full of people who had been waiting over half an hour to 40 minutes and no food. When you finally do get food, it is always cold and not up to the standards of other locations. I will gladly drive to Provo or Orem State Street instead of this one that is closer to me. I finally left after close to an hour wait with no food! Poor management! This one will get minus 10 stars!

I used the kiosk expecting a receipt. Apparently my order number flashed on the screen. I had no way of knowing my order number especially not having a receipt. Ridiculous.

30 minute wait, rude employees and managers, and cold food. I usually don’t write reviews but this place was so awful I wanted to warn people to instead go to the McDonald’s on University because the service is night and day. I waited in line for 30 minutes, mind you this was not a long line, for my order of one sausage burrito. When I finally got to the window I asked if I could have a water to which the manager replied (I could see his tag) you will have to circle around and buy it. I was confused because at every other McDonalds I had been to they had offered free water to paying customers. So after I had waited 30 minutes in line and they gave me my burrito I decided to go home and on the way there I opened my burrito only for it to be frozen cold. This place has consistently had bad service and rude employees and fails to even have warm food. I suggest going to either of the McDonalds on university or anywhere else because this place is horrible. Hopefully with new management they maybe can fix these issues. Written Oct/22/2024

I’m in Orem temporarily for work and visit almost every morning for breakfast. I’ve seen some of the staff (managers?) hustle and bustle on the double to keep things moving, namely Jose and Matt. Really all the staff here seem generally welcoming and amicable. Keep up the good work!
Poor service and timing. Heard several workers and managers yelling back and forth while the lines were full to the max. When they took my order, they sounded super depleted. I would be too if I was in that situation….

Almost always really slow getting my food and the inside is always super dirty.... then today my nuggets were cold/warm ish and a couple had the breading just off it. I guess this was the last straw. WENDY'S is super close and is my new drive through destination! GET THIS STORE RUNNING RIGHT.. LOOK AT THE GOOGLE REVIEWS. YALL DROWNING

Let me just start by saying this place was a literal nightmare. I have had multiple horrific experiences here but I’ll just share a few. First of me and my friend were just having a wonderful night and we started to get hungry from all of the partying, we have a wonderful idea! How about we take a nice trip to McDonald’s. Boy were we wrong this trip has caused me one of the most sorrowful pains I have felt in this life. We head over on our little mopeds and we arrive in the drive through. And let me just say that there was two cars total in the whole drive through. We wait behind a car to begin ordering, the car moves ahead so we pull up to the ordering station. We waited for a solid 5 minutes for somebody to help us, cars kept going through in the lane next to us so we decided to head over to that lane. We are waiting behind a couple cars in the other lane and a new car pulls up to the station we were waiting before. We hear the voice com say “how may we help you”. We are kind of astonished that this was happening so again, we switched back to the previous lane. This continued for at least 20 minutes when finally we had enough. We went through the drive through and knocked on the window. Someone opened the window up and we said that no one was helping us order. The guy gave me the side eye and said “ we don’t serve motorcycles”. It sure would have been nice if he would have just said that so we didn’t waste our time waiting. My second experience I’ll share was me and my friend decided to let this McDonald’s have a chance to redeem the last visit we had. We decided this time to try going inside. We order our food without having much trouble, we go sit down at a table Which later that day I found out I sat in some ketchup and i wasn’t too thrilled when someone pointed it out to me at school that I had ketchup all over my butt. Anyways we sit down and wait for out food. As we are waiting we notice the employ that is cleaning up the place is literally with his foot kicking chairs out of the way so that he could sweep. I don’t know why he couldn’t just use his hands but I was scared to ask why. I’m telling you it was like watching a game of shuffle board, the noise and commotion he was causing was immaculate. Finally our food came out and one of my fries was completely black. Anyways then today I decided to visit one final time. Me and my friend ended up Leaving after waiting 10 minutes for someone to help us at the drive through. So I hope that you take this review into consideration before coming here. As long as you have at least an hour to spare you will be ok. I would not even give this place a 1% it’s so bad. But see for yourself
