Great little Mexican place with chill vibes. Three brothers own it and make some great food. No complaints here.

Tacos: The street taco–sized carne asada had good flavor, though it was only served with white onions, microgreens, and salsa verde. Tasty, but the price felt a bit high for the portion.

Chilaquiles: Very flavorful overall. I wasn’t a fan of the over-easy egg, but that’s part of the dish. The beans were excellent, with great taste and consistency.

Atmosphere: Average. Flies were a bit of an issue, and the music was loud, making conversation difficult.

Overall: The food was decent, but the dining experience and pricing left me feeling it was just average.

If you don’t understand the vibe and style of food motel west is going for then you’ll totally miss the concept and think it’s “overpriced” or “slow”. Everything menu item is genuinely thought through and meticulously made to give you way more than the generic Mexican food restaurant where you go and spend $1 on a street taco. I eat at flemmings and Ruth’s Chris at least once a month and I can honestly say comparing price/quality/flavor/presentation to those two, motel west comes out on top. I Absolutley would and will pay the money time and time again to eat here. The pricing is Absolutley reasonable for the quality of food they are going for. 🙏🏽

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing customer service. There are a lot of gimmicky type of Mexican restaurants but this one actually hits the mark. I will be recommending this to everyone I know. And speaking as a Mexican from LA, that's saying a lot.

Food was phenomenal, the meat was seasoned very well, the tortillas and salsa tasted fresh. The atmosphere was very chill, perfect for hangout or date night. I highly recommend giving this place a chance.

I've been here twice. The first time was about 7pm on a Friday night. They were out of chips and salsa which is a menu item. The bean burrito was pretty good. My wife enjoyed her taco's.

When my food came, I asked for utensils. I watched them wash them in a tub on the counter. They came to me wet. :( I had to ask them twice for a knife. I also asked for a napkin. They were out. The server disappeared for a few minutes and came back with paper ripped off a role. Nice! I hope it wasn't from the bathroom.

The second time was also a Friday night around 5:30pm. As soon as we sat down they said they were out of beans, flour tortillas and all the deserts. Excuse me! A Mexican restaurant that is out of beans, flour tortillas and chips? There is no excuse for that. Especially early on a Friday night. It was summer so that kind of makes it even earlier in the shift. We left without ordering.

They need to get their act together. They've been open for like seven months. I doubt I'll go back.

Waited an hour for my food to be delivered just to have it be cancelled. Don’t offer delivery if you can’t do it

I ordered delivery, directly from them not a third party, food was never delivered and my card was charged. I have called, left a voicemail, texted and have sent 2 emails. Please refund my card and stop taking delivery orders and charging people if you’re not open. (Even though business hours on your website say you’re open).

Fantastic food but half the time they aren’t open, half the time they don’t have half the items on their menu, and half the time they don’t have any salsa. Better management and it’s 5 stars.
*Edit: Tried going again, and they were closed again during business hours. Stay away from Motel West.

Tried their Dos carne asada taco. It was delish! Meat was perfectly cooked. The seasoning was perfect. It’s family owned. Staff very friendly. Met the 4 brothers who helps run their restaurant business. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes.
