my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.
Love this place. I’m always walking in and rolling out. It’s a little pricey but you get your moneys worth. I do wish there was a cheaper option like no free appetizers but cheaper.
I’d add a pic but I ate it too fast!
Ridiculously good kept coming to mind.
Enjoyable experience and amazing flavors.
So… I don’t want to tell anyone, but the evening $5 experience is awesome! Either come in early or take a chance on not getting in on it.
Oh. And if you can get Natsuki as your server, you’ll have a good time.
Amazing sushi! Great service! Can’t beat the $5 any sushi rolls after 8pm.
We really liked the late night sushi, and that was the first time I had ever had sushi. It was so good!
Friendly service, excellent food, and great atmosphere. A little more difficult for groups over 10 to be seated together, but they do their best.
they will steal your money they will add a tip without telling you and act like it's the normal total 20 30%, nothing's above them if you know this don't pay all the police
I will start off saying Mr. Shabu is pretty good sushi. We had the AYCE (all you can eat). I wouldn’t suggest the appetizers. Maybe only the rosemary fries are actually worth it. The others are pretty flavorless and cheap in my opinion.
The Geisha, Samurai, The Glory and Caterpillar are my favorite ones. Titanic is good too.
We went there on a Monday night. I highly recommend coming on a weekday before 7pm. Super fast and friendly service. Incredible presentation.
The only thing is they have upped their prices recently by quite a bit, which we weren’t aware of till we were already seated. $32.95 or close to that for AYCE. It’s pretty pricey to be honest. The last time we went I think it was $24. So yeah not really worth it anymore.
Again if you don’t mind spending $70-80 plus tip for two people on about 10 awesome rolls of sushi then it’s fine. But we probably won’t be back for a while.
Great atmosphere. Great presentation. Great service earns this place 5 stars ⭐️

Service is very friendly and nice. Atmosphere is decent. Food is sooooo bad: Broth are watering and tasteless. Meat is not tender or juicy, Crab is not fresh, sauce bar is the worst-who want to have sweet chili or mayo for hotpot? This is not authentic Asian hotpot. Very disappointed experience

There were SO MANY choices. I think it took us literally 30 minutes to look over the menus and figure out what we wanted. And then, they don't even have to go boxes to take home what you have on your table. We ordered/paid for individual sushi rolls- not the all you can eat ones. It was pretty expensive to not be able to at least take those home. All and all, had we understood more of how the whole thing works, it would've probably been a more enjoyable experience- the food was ok.

Highly expensive place. I had a party of 6 and the gratuity of 18% was charged for each person splitting the bill and paying for themselves so they had a very high tip from us. Each person's dinner was around $35 per person plus included tip and the food was not that exciting to be worth such a high dollar.
There were meats and a large selection of veggies but we mainly got full off the appetizers that were included in the pricing. As an opinion, a Korean BBQ place would be a much better option for the buck.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of veggies to choose from and I recommend doing the vegetarian option because you mainly get full off of the that anyways before enjoying the meats.

Great food, we love it. Our server was great at first, fast with the first set of appetizers and meats but then we didn't see her for a while and all of us waited a while to refill drinks and other additional meat.

My husband and I went here for sushi and had a great time! We went for a lot of the baked and fried rolls and they were delicious! Best cooked sushi rolls I've had anywhere, hands-down. There were a couple rolls my husband didn't enjoy as much, which is why I give 4 out of 5 stars on the food, but overall it was still great. The appetizers were really yummy too, they do an appetizer sampler so you can get a bit of everything, which I definitely recommend! Our server was very friendly and helpful too. I took a quick look at the hot pot salad bar area and was impressed with the selection of noodles. I love myself some hot pot so I think we will be back to try that soon!

Second time here for lunch, food was great, I can't see why anyone would complain about the food since to make your own plate. Customer service was great as well, frequently asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything.
