Have been here quite a few times over the past few years. The newest updates to the menu and the new digital ordering system and new grill tops are great additions to the restaurant. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the menu has something for (most) everyone. Definitely worth the time and the money, give them a try if you haven't already.

Came in for Valentine’s Day dinner and I’m in awe with how awesome the service and the food was on such a busy night!
Our experience was so great! And we felt so appreciated as customers as we received a cute gift, and even a complimentary chocolate strawberry from ombu on love day! 🥰

Super chill super tasty! One of the best hot pots I’ll ever go to! Definitely would recommend, around $50 for two people 60 with tip and make sure to get the tempinyaki!
We've been eating at the Ombu Orem location ever since it's opened and we've always had a great time. The servers are super nice and attentive and we love the food for the price point. We always get the short rib, marinated steak, Hawaiian brisket, and the cheese corn.
Kid-friendliness: We've been going to Ombu Orem since my sister-in-law has been pregnant with my nephew and the servers recognize and remember us. When the kids are crying, they've even given the kids their own snacks
Extremely poor ventilation, whole restaurant is smokey. You'll rarely see your server and if you do you'll have to try your hardest to flag them down when they forget your food. Definitely go to Kuo if you're looking for a much better
Prices were misleading for just a party of 2 & we didn't even get through all 48 items! came up to $62 plus a tip since i felt generous total of $74.17! Also my card is being charged twice the mexican small lady was the one who swiped my card so if im charged twice yall better gimme my refund! Anyways so it seems as if every "Asian" or "Non/Broken English speakers restaurants I've been to in general has a demanding behavior with tips that is not ever required to do so known by law of mankind especially if we're the ones cooking the foods ourselves like technically we're doing all the work it not prepared before it given to us we're preparing it! Look at all the other lowest reviews! Maybe hire waitress who aren't rude & hates their job it ruins the whole experience! The Asian lady asked if I needed a refill I told her yeah as I was grabbing my cup than she tells me just leave it on the end of the table anytime you need a refill just came off pretty rude as she walked off like okay? Lol thanks? I guess haha so to the owner if you believe in room for improvements are avoid bad reviews maybe look into getting rid of some of the workers you have employed who is going to make your business look bad!
