This place used to be my absolute favorite all you can eat KBBQ. I don’t know what’s happened, but the menu has changed/less options and it feels like the quality of the products has gone down. The prices are up to $27 per person (as of AUG 2025) which is tough considering it was $21 only 3 years ago.
At this point/due to the above reasons, I can no longer vouch for this place over other nearby KBBQ options. That being said, it’s still good, just not great like it used to be.

Service is fine, but the sauces are all wrong. Galbi tastes nothing like it should, sweeter than normal like a Hawaiian bbq. Bulgogi was not marinated well. Tasted bland. Sauce for the gyoza was disgusting, idk what’s going on. Stop the fusion. Do traditional, normal sauces that the meats are supposed to be. I did not enjoy the meats at all.
Lettuce and kimchi soup were both good.
I’m sorry but I wont be coming back. The flavors were terrible and I didn’t eat all I could eat.
Such a great deal - all you can eat of actually good dishes! We are repeat customers.

Ombu KBBQ always treats us so well! The food is absolutely fantastic, and worth every penny of the cost! The staff is attentive and kind, and are committed to giving you a good experience. I highly recommend the Hawaiian brisket, spicy kalbi, and the fried chicken wings. Literally everything is delicious!

Tons of Polynesians like myself can't get enough of this place, we basically live here at this point. Definitely one of the KBBQ's of all time.
PS. A fantastic if not perfect spot for vegans and vegetarians!

Ombu now covers their stoves with paper. While I imagine this allows for easier cleaning, it makes it really difficult to sear the meat properly. This resulted in a lot of smoke and very mediocre meat. My table had no hood to suck up the smoke. The restaurant also does not have waiters anymore but has switched to iPads for ordering. This system is efficient but cheapens the experience.

Neither authentic nor fusion. Had to ask for correct number of chopsticks, water, multiple times. sauces were incorrect & when asked for basic sauces for kbbq, we were informed that they did not have them.

Food is as not fresh. We used to come here often. Now their pickled cucumber and raddish is not fresh, it is on the soggy side. Quality of the food is not consistent.
