Yummy in my tummy! Jaunitta Beth Hatch is the best server I have ever had in my life. I keep coming back to this location only to be served by her during the day! ? She definitely creates a better atmosphere and a joy to have serving for breakfast and lunch. Can't go wrong with the old southern scramble and add a pancake!

I’m sad to leave this review because we used to be such big fans of Black Bear Diner but it has really gone downhill recently. They used to be known for their generous portions but on this visit our plates were noticeably scant. We came home and had toast because we weren’t full from the tiny amount of food we were given. The worst part was being charged $5 for hash browns that neither of us ordered or ate. When I spoke to the hostess, she refused to give me a refund and instead gave me a $5 certificate off our next meal — the certificate expired in 2023, so I doubt it’ll be accepted. Overall a disappointed and expensive experience.
Been here many times. Prices are a bit high but everything on the menu is fantastic. Only wish is that the biscuits and gravy had more gravy (was a bit dry multiple times). Would still definitely recommend!

The service at this location has always been lacking, I should have known better. I had to ask for the salad that was included in the meal, they were out of the cornbread muffins and I was promised a biscuit instead that I didn't receive. There was no cranberry sauce with my turkey dinner and the server didn't come back to check on us, so I couldn't ask for any. Very disorganized and unprofessional

My family used to enjoy Black Bear a lot, but the last few times we have gone has been disappointing. It took an hour to get our food, and the quality isn't what it used to be. The bathrooms were very dirty, and the employees seemed to not care when we told them. The floors of the restaurant were very dirty as well, and there were a lot of uncleared tables. We could have been seated a lot sooner if the tables were cleared faster.
