I really wanted to like this place, but it ended up being just okay. It’s a buffet-style setup, which sounds great in theory, but most of the pizzas were just sitting out for too long. Every slice I grabbed had a super hard crust—like borderline crunchy in a bad way. Not fresh at all.
The variety was decent, and they had some creative options, but when everything’s dried out and stiff, it kind of ruins the whole experience. The dessert pizzas were better, but even then, not enough to make up for the rest.
Staff was nice, the place was clean, and I liked the layout, but the food just didn’t hold up. If they can rotate the pizzas more often and keep them fresher, it could be a solid spot. As it stands, it’s a 3-star visit for me.

They're all really nice! You go up to the pasta bar and they warm it up and give it back, pizza is similar as well as the salad bar!

We had a great family dinner at pizza pie cafe in Orem. It was busy but they had enough seating for all. We found the family dining area great for the whole family to sit and talk with each other and the rest of the restaurant noise was blocked because this was a outlet that was secluded with just enough seating for 20 people. It was great for us because the little kids got to see the TV that was in that room and we could sit and talk. The food was great. I really loved the dessert pizzas. Even the pasta was great with all the sauce choices that you can put on the pasta. Even though the restaurant was busy, the lines were never really long to get the pizza that you wanted.

I had a fun time at Pizza Pie Cafe in Orem! With my group. The best part is definitely the variety—there’s so much to choose from. Tons of pizza options (even dessert pizza!), plus pasta and a salad bar, which is perfect if you're with a group or picky eaters. It’s not super intuitive for little ones.
It was a bit warm inside when we visited, which made it feel just a little stuffy, but not enough to ruin the experience. Overall, it’s a great casual spot to take the family, especially if you’re in the mood for something easy and fun.

The place is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the staff is on top of it—pizzas are always fresh and constantly restocked (a win for indecisive kids and hungry parents alike). My kids love the mix-and-match style—they can try different pizzas, load up on pasta, and of course, make room for dessert pizza! Pizza isn’t gourmet, but it’s also not Little Caesars. It’s an in between of those two . It’s our go-to spot for a fun, casual family night that keeps everyone smiling (and full).

Hadn't been in a while, the food was awesome! So much better than in the past. Wanted to try the new dessert pizzas and couldn't finish them, but wasn't allowed a Togo box. Was told it's only for gluten free or take out. Even though we had already taken bites out of them and didn't want to waste what we had grabbed. Odd thing to not allow since we've been able to do it in the past. Besides that, it was a pleasant visit.
