I ordered my gluten-free pizza and then I sat there for 30 minutes and they never even started making it until I asked for it after my long wait.

It's Pizza Pie Cafe. It's an unpretentious pizza buffet, with a basic salad bar and soggy pasta. The pasta sause bar is meh, but it'll do in a pinch. My kids like it.
Vegetarian options: There's not a lot, and you have to request it.
Kid-friendliness: Kids like it and the younger they are the cheaper it is.

This is one of my favorites to go to for lunch. It’s cheap, usually pretty good, and not super busy around 11:30-12:00.
My only complaint is consistency on food. The spicy Alfredo is my favorite pasta but sometimes it’s amazing and other times it’s a huge let down.
Other than that you can count on this to be pretty good.

Food was great and the tables were cleaned off quickly. The table was a little sticky. It could have been cleaned better before we sat down.

When my husband and I go out to eat we usually go to Pizza Pie Cafe in Orem. We love the salad bar with all the many toppings and the fact that we can order a custom gluten free pizza for a minimal cost . And we can get gluten free pasta. When we went this evening we soon noticed a change: the restaurant was super clean; there seemed to be many more staff than usual working and they really seemed to go out of their way to give excellent customer service. We have always liked their food, but tonight the gluten free pizza was delicious! The changes were so obvious that we suspected that the restaurant was under new management. It was a pleasure to meet the new manager and tell her how much we enjoyed the overall improvements. Great job! We can't wait to go back.

The pasta bar is likely the best portion of PPC. You can choose between 7 to 8 different pastas, they reheat it for you, you add any of 6 sauces, and enjoy. The salad bar is decent. The pizza is ok. The prices are definitely family friendly.
Kid-friendliness: This has been my grandson's go to location for nearly a decade ... a "must do" whenever I'm in town.

Three stars because the salad bar was pretty bad. We went at 1130 am. on a Saturday. Thecsakad bar was poorly stocked with few choices remaining. The pizza was decent, and they had all their different types of pizza out, and fresh.
