The Chocolate made our wedding cake. They were quick to respond to any question we had, and clearly communicated what options were available. Every need and expectation was met. The cake was beautiful made and the guests loved the flavors. 10/10
Going back a bit with this one but our visit was later at night and the girls behind the counter were brilliant. Super enthusiastic and polite - open to bring conversation and the product is always spot on too. A totally refreshing wake-up call to other young staff in the area who are miserable and depressing. Can’t recommend the place enough if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
Some of THE BEST desserts! A must try!!
Update: Long time customer
I've been coming here for 4 years and the last several times I've come, the cookies are really disappointing. They are hard, like cookies that have been over cooked and dry, or they have taste like cookies that have sat out for a couple days. At $40 for a dozen cookies, it is just too much for me to experience such variety in cookie quality.
Staff is always nice and helpful.
Cake is still very good!
Old review:
When the cookies are fresh they are delcious. I Love the CHOCOLATE CHIP TURTLE: 4 pecans drizzled with milk chocolate and Carmel and the CRINKLE COOKIE- basically like a fudge brownie type cookie with powdered sugar.
SUGAR COOKIES: have a lemon flavor to the frosting.
The cakes all have a nice flavor. It is more on the crumbly side. It really depends on how fresh it is when you buy it.
Delicious desserts, served our dessert on a sharp cracked plate and the bathrooms were worse than a gas station.
The quaint ambience was ruined by, disrespectful, noisy, loud staff & noisier when their boyfriends came in. I asked them to be quieter please but she offered a back room we could go in. Really?! The taste of the cake is average & overpriced. The friend I was with can make better.
My review is from April but I forgot to do it until now. My husband ordered a special cake for my birthday and surprised me with it. We had been wanting to try this place forever!! We were so disappointed with how dry it was and ended up throwing all but the two pieces we ate away. I called the next day and spoke to the owner (I think his name was Brett) and he was AMAZING!! He was so understanding and helped get us a new cake that tasted AMAZING!!! His customer service was beyond anything I could have imagined and I will go there so many more times in the future because of him and because the chocolate cake was incredible!! I believe the first cake was a fluke and not a representation of how amazing and delicious this place is! Highly recommend
i came in a few weeks ago when virginie and chloe were working and they were an absolute delight! great customer service, got me my cazookie so quickly and made me feel so welcomed! the desserts here and so delicious and i have tried a lot of them!!! the salted caramel pretzel cookie is INCREDIBLE! the cakes are always so soft and fluffy and i love their mint brownie! 10/10!
Delicious. You can't go wrong with any of these desserts. The cakes are moist and flavorful. The cookies and crispy on the outside and gooey inside. The lemon bars aren't too sour and the brownies have a grwat texture.
The ingredients they use here seem to be high quality but they apparently don't know the difference between cookie dough and a cookie. I guess they skipped the day where they covered how ovens work.

I love their cake!
I felt disappointed with the service. I wanted to order a cake for my son’s graduation and pay for it right away, but I was told it could only be done over the phone. I was hoping for a more flexible and helpful response.
I purchased a small chocolate cake for my daughter’s birthday. We were dining out and took the cake to the restaurant for celebrations. The cake tasted really good, but it was super crumbly when we tried to slice it. It continued to crumble as the guests tried to eat it. Our waiter was kind enough to offer us spoons as the forks weren’t very useful, but the guests for the most part, just pushed the crumbs around their plate for a few minutes and then abandoned all efforts to eat it. One guest just ordered her own dessert from the restaurant instead of attempting the crumb Olympics😅. It was a waste of money for me, it was less than half consumed. But what was eaten was tasty.
UPDATE: wow, excellent customer service. Owner Immediately responded to the issue with an apology and refund, which we will be using to come back in for another birthday cake! Such amazing customer service can be rare to find, really appreciate supporting a local shop that stands by their products like that. Looking forward to our next visit at the Chocolate and really appreciate such awesome customer service!!!!
Good vibes place to taste something delicious. I hope to visit this place again when I come back to Utah. R
So many amazing dessert options from the case, plus freshly baked cakes on display you can get slices of. They have everything from lemon bars to salted caramel brownies (even a gluten free shelf).
For our recent visit, my husband and I shared a cazookie (pazookie but in a cake pan) which was half white chocolate macadamia nut and half chocolate candy egg special for Easter. Super decadent, and meant to be shared.
Prices are fair, and it's a cute eclectic space as far as seating goes. Big open parking lot in the back. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
