The Italian Place Cheesesteaks

I was really disappointed with the fact that they have cut back on the pastrami in their Zeus sandwich. There was barely any on my sandwich at all. I know this doesn't have anything to do with the manager. He totally tried to make up for it by giving us a free drink. The owner is also now charging $0.75 to use your debit card. Then they expect tips. If I'm going to have to pay $0.75 for my debit card you can guarantee you won't be getting a tip from me. My husband said the men's restroom was disgusting. We also had this group of flies flying around us the whole time we were eating. Get an exterminator! This is winter time and that just doesn't look good at all.

These are such a classic Utah Valley food. They're iconic, a tradition. Anyone visiting Yeah valley needs to come here. Nothing but incredibly good food could keep a little ma and pa place like this thriving for so long. They're a little pricey, but you can't find a better cheese steak sandwich. Every time my parents are down visiting Provo, they stop here and I hope they treat me too. Someday I'll get to come here more often.

The cheesesteak sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I would highly recommend this location.

The service was amazing! The ambience was beautiful and the food was fantastic and at a fantastic price!! Highly recommend! (The turkey and everything sandwich was to die for!)

I've heard about this place and even eaten food from here before, but this was my first time going for myself. We got 2 monster Steak and Everythings and they were pretty good! A lot of the filling fell out into the paper, but that was okay. The bread sogged up pretty quickly and that was a bit of a bummer, but it worked alright. The tomatoes really didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the sandwich.For the price, I kind of expected the monster sized sandwiches to be, well, huge. They were big, but not overly so. We shared 2 sandwiches between 2 adults and 2 kids and I definitely could have eaten almost the whole thing myself.

Kid-friendliness: There were no high chairs.

I tried the Steak & Everything Philly, which is new. I very much enjoyed it. We often use The Italian Place for a quick, unscheduled meal.

This place is an experience. Super tasty and a great price. Go eat there so they don’t go out of business!

My favorite Philly cheesesteak in Utah. As long as you keep in mind that cheesesteaks are not fine dining you shouldn’t be disappointed. This is not a steak sandwich. Think of it like a cheeseburger. Some are better than others. This happens to be my favorite.

Pretty great sandwich, kinda expensive but you get what you pay for, enough meat fell out of my half size to make another sandwich. That also means it was extraordinarily messy, and it came out really hot, I had to wait 20 minutes before it cooled down enough to enjoy it. Guess that's better than being cold though. I got the Thor.

If you want good cheesesteaks look no farther then the Italian place! From the super friendly service, to the good quality food. When I have a craving I will definitely be back!

Don't let the outside building (or the inside for that matter) fool you!! This place has one of the best Cheesesteaks I have ever had!! It is loaded with ingredients for very reasonable prices especially in this economy!!! My favorite is the cream cheese and steak, but I don't think you can go wrong here!! Definite recommend!!

We got the Philly ‘n everything sandwich, it was fantastic. One of the best Phillys I’ve ever had. The staff was super nice and even gave some suggestions to try in the future. Will definitely be going again.

We've been looking for a place that has great a t pastrami sandwiches and this is it. The pastrami was cut perfectly and the roll was authentic Italian. We also tried the garlic bread. It was nice and crispy on the outside and the perfect amount of garlic and butter on the inside.Definitely going back.

Love this place. My uncle brought me here years back and I've stopped in for a sandwich anytime I'm able. It's too bad I don't live in Utah anymore...but probably for the best. I'd blow a lot of my money eating out from this place.

I walk in, and a huge swam of flying bugs hits me in the face. I decide to go an order anyways. The cashier was nice, but my sandwiches were so bone dry, overly salty, flavorless, and missing the cheese. The poor quality of the bread is also very cursed. The lobby has holes in the dated popcorn ceiling. The whole place looks dirty, dark, and unhygienic.There was no one else in the restaraunt and it's easy to see why. Unless this place does a serious turnaround it will go the way of the dodo... extinct. Are the owners asleep at the wheel?!
