Csn be slow service at times. But food is good.
The Orem location is closed as of 25JAN2020. But Dylan transferred to the Provo location. Go see him there. He's is the best waiter I've ever had at any restaurant. And I've eaten at Restaurants all over the world. Be sure to TIP him LARGE
I need to try more food before I finalize my rating. I had gotten a build your own breakfast with multi grain pancakes country potatoes, omelet, and oat meal. The pancakes seemed slightly doughy, but it was my first time doing multi grain pancakes, so maybe that's just how they are. The syrup was amazing though. The oatmeal, omelet, and country potatoes were really good too. The portion sizes we're good as well. Their kids meals were good and my 3 kids loved them more than other places. They have kids ice cream on that menu which was a nice addition. My wife got strawberry crepes and said they were good. Kids eat free with entree purchase on Monday and Tuesday, and they have free pie with entree purchase on Wednesday.
The food is pretty good, but I'm so disappointed in their pie! The way they hype it up, I was expecting something that tasted better than a boxed pie from the freezer. The crust is thin and chewy, and the fillings always have this weird tang. Even during free pie Wednesdays, I wouldn't want any. So if you're going to go, get yourself the turkey bacon avocado melt and buy a pie from Walmart.
This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant. I took my older friends for breakfast today and, while the food was fine and the server friendly enough, what came after left a terrible impression. My friend bit into his pancake and immediately felt a large piece of metal in his mouth. He pulled it out and it seemed to be a part of some kind of machinery. We waited for the server to return and ask how the meal was so that we could let him know what happened but, in spite of passing our table numerous times, he never stopped. (To be fair, business picked up and he appeared to be the only server on duty.) Finally we stopped him and let him know. He apologized and said he would go and talk to his manager (implying that he would come back). We waited another 10-15 minutes and decided we would have to leave. Nothing was said as we paid and since I'd invited my friends I didn't want to embarrass them in my frustration. When I got home I called the restaurant and explained (very pleasantly) the situation to the person who seemed to be the manager and who had checked us out a half hour before. She said, "Oh, we wondered where you had gone." She made some excuses about being busy and understaffed and then offered some free coupons. She asked for the address of my friends and I said, "Okay, just give me second," the way you do when you're switching screens on your phone. She said, "Let me put you on hold," and was gone before I could answer. When the timer on the call said 27 MINUTES PLUS I hung up and called back. This time I'm sure I was less pleasant. The phone immediately went to a hold situation again for five minutes or so and then she picked up again. At first she said that she must have "picked the call back up just as I hung up" and offered again that they were busy and understaffed. (It was a national holiday so I really feel they might have seen this coming.) Then she told me that it was my fault and that I HAD ASKED TO BE PUT ON HOLD! When I contradicted that she ended with, "Well, what do you want me to do?" At that point, I figured if she didn't know what to do I certainly couldn't help her and said goodbye. (And this won't let me post without clicking on a star or it would have been 0.)
I had a great server who I could honestly tell was a hard working person. The food is alright not good enough for 5 stars but better than IHOP. Staff is a make or break for me and I had a great server. If you go here I highly recommend you ask for the server Dylan.
Perfect breakfast spot for after church!
Great service, great food, and great pie! The pie, my favorite part. The crust melts in your mouth. So flakey and buttery. The apple pie is yummy warmed up with ice cream and caramel and pecan!. And a whole pie is only $10! Can't beat that!
Great service and the food was good for the price .
Bad service waiter Jordan. She informed us that iced coffee were no longer free refills. Had to request a new menu to show her where its advertised that they are. Then she refused to add the Carmel to my ice coffee refills. The store manager who I thought was a nice guy took off the drink but then forgot to take off the free kids meals. After paying I went back because the price didnt add up.
Restaurantji Recommends
This is one of the best places to get breakfast any time of the day. It's always clean and the Staff is always very friendly! We always receive great service and definitely recommend!
We always have a nice server who does her job well the last few times we went. The host was extremely chill when it came to my friend who had wanted in n out and wanted to take his food inside which made our experience that much better I feel like and me and my friends found a second place to go in terms of eating out as a group.
We waited an hour to get our drinks. The waiter was clearly on drugs & completely forgot about my table. I watched ppl that were seated after me, eat & leave. Until I finally approached the manager. I got a free coffee but left with an empty stomach.
Will return - friendly staff and great food. One of the waiters actually calls out a greeting to everyone he recognizes, which was over half of the people who came in on this Saturday morning. He also brought out our daughter's food early, which kept her entertained. The food was also delicious.
Taylor is an amazing waitress. She's quick efficient and has a cute personality. You can tell she loves her job!
