My friends and I frequent this fine establishment and it never disappoints. The food and especialy the sushi is amazing. I recommend the Crunch Monster, Bonzai, and If you want to wow others in the restaurant, the kiss of Dragon rolls. Not only are they delicious, but the presentation is great.
I've also had the Katau, Karage, Udon, Spicy Chicken, and other dishes which I can't remember, because I've been there so much and I'm just picking my favorites, but I don't remember anything I've had that I didn't like. The appetizers are really good too!
Aside from the food, the service is really good. I'm impressed by how well they do. I would seriously recommend this place.

Best place it’s where I had my first date with my husband. The sushi is so good and thick cuts of fish. The beef bulgulgi and chicken teriyaki are out of this world! We’ve been at least 20 times and the service has always been great!

Yamato Japanese Restaurant is absolutely amazing. I had the eel sushi and the tempura udon, and both were incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared.
The service is very nice—friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

Kind staff and a small family-run feel, but the food quality didn’t match what we expected based on the ratings.
The miso soup and water had off tastes, the booth seating was uncomfortable, and the sesame chicken tasted like pre-fried frozen chicken with a sauce packet.
We appreciate the friendliness of the staff and hope the feedback is helpful.
