the ‘manager’ Jose Arredondo and ‘HR’ Mandi Hernandez ahould be ashamed of them selves , iknow my son is 18 but he’s still in school senior in school has morning classes like regular high schooler, I’ve asked them to take him off the morning schedule bc he has classes, Jose sent me to Mandi who shouldn’t be an HR associate bc her customer service is terrible, I told her the situation and she didn’t care so I asked her do she have children’s and she said yes, so I said to her would that be ok to skip school and go to work bc your ‘manager’ scheduled youand she said no so I told her this is why I’m calling and she said it’s not my kid and laughed, I’ve asked for corporate contact no response

Recently discovered Zao and I think I've gotten 5 times in the last week. Favorite restaurant ever without question.

I’ve always loved Zao for the food—it’s fast, healthy, convenient, and delicious. But if I’m being honest, the service has rarely been worth writing home about. That’s why last night completely took me by surprise—the service was absolutely incredible.
And you know what? It was a group of teens running the show.
So often, young workers get labeled with the “Gen Z stare—I’m just here for a paycheck” vibe, but this crew was the opposite. The restaurant was clean, organized, and they were clearly on top of keeping it that way. Most importantly, they were polite, respectful, and genuinely caring.
John and Jacky especially stood out. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and waddling around like a penguin, and John offered to carry my hot soup to my table so I wouldn’t spill. Jacky kindly topped off my broth when I mentioned I was sharing it with my son. Those may seem like small things, but in a world where kindness feels increasingly rare, they made a huge impact on me.
This experience honestly restored my faith in humanity and in the upcoming generation. These kids went above and beyond when they didn’t have to—and that makes all the difference. I hope the whole crew gets the recognition they deserve, because they are making Zao look really good.

lol, it’s as if Panda Express went to a yoga retreat, read some Michael Pollan, and came back with better taste and a clean conscience. And then the result was that Aubergine and Panda got married and had a well-adjusted child who meal preps and listens to NPR. That’s this place.
Surprisingly solid. Would return.

We eat at this location regularly and Juan Carlos is always very friendly and kind. Me makes sure we feel welcome and is attentive to our order. The food is always good and the restaurant is always clean and presentable.
If you want a healthy, delicious meal, this is the place! I usually get a rice bowl here, and I love the yellow curry. I'm so grateful that they have vegetarian options like seasoned tofu. Being able to add in guacamole is a nice option, too.

Ordered a doordash meal. Steak bowl with everything on it. When the meal arrived I got a steak bowl with NO STEAK. Seriously? How do you forget the steak?
