Desert grill had some solid vegetarian options, which could pretty easily be made vegan. I got the veggie wrap without cheese and house sauce (includes mayo) and it was totally solid. Just a simple wrap with tomato, lettuce, guacamole, mushroom, pepper, cucumber. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-03

By far the best place to eat in Panguitch. They have AMAZING brisket and pulled pork. Definitely recommend stopping here for some good food! Service is amazing and friendly too 😋

We both had the American Cheeseburger with crinkle fries and fry sauce. Really good! Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed eating there.

Fall off the bone ribs, sauces burnt ends, and really good coleslaw! We got the tres leches cake to go but I'm sure it's going to be good based on the way it looks and smells. Great spot for an early dinner.

Parking: Easy for oversized vehicles to pull in and out

Had breakfast on a Sunday.morning when everywhere else was closed. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. I ha bacon, fried eggs and country potatoes the eggs and potatoes were good but the bacon was a little more done than I like.all in all a good experience will stop there again on our trip back home to Arizona. Dined in.

Great little diner -- good food and great service. We had a chicken-fried steak with mashed potatoes and baked beans, and a fiesta salad. Both were excellent, with quite generous portions. The salad had a nice portion of shredded smoked pork, corn, black beans, and more served in a bowl of torn lettuce. The only slight disappointment was that the mashed potatoes weren't very warm. Quick, friendly service and very clean.

Lovely spot for a quick bite to eat on my travels! Dined in and ordered the specials for the day, soup and a tamale. Then had to get a slice of tres leche cake to go - which was DIVINE!!!

wanting to avoid Bryce City , frozen dinners, and overpriced burgers we drove 8 miles to check out the Desert Grill. Smoked Brisket was delicious and worth the trip. Midweek in November leaves few local options for meals, and we had the place almost to ourselves. smoked pork was also on the menu. Yum.

Really great place with affordable prices! After being taken advantage of at Bryce Canyon NP, we found this cute little place with great coffee, breakfast and service in Panguich on our way out of town. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍👍

Quiet atmosphere with great food. We had a large group, but the food was brought out super quick and was top notch and fresh. The little gift shop has some awesome handmade items for super reasonable prices. Definitely a great stop on the way to Bryce.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun for the cheeseburger.

Low quality food, bad but friendly service. Two of our four dinner orders came out wrong. I worried when we ordered that the server was not writing down the things we were asking her to take off for us (no house sauce on a veggie wrap and hold the cheese on my impossible burger). But she was smiling and nodding when I repeated the instructions. When the food came out there was house sauce on the veggie wrap and there was cheese on the impossible burger. My son said it was ok and he would just eat the veggie wrap anyway. I asked the server to please redo my impossible burger. She did the strangest thing - she took my entire basket of food (impossible burger and fries) away. Now I couldn’t eat my fries while the new burger was being cooked. When she brought the “new” basket out to me with the new burger, my same fries from the original order were there in the basket. I know this because I put zig zagging ketchup on them. I’m sure food law does not allow food to be brought to a customer, sit on the table, go back to the kitchen, and then return to the customer again. It felt so gross to me! The server had no idea that this was not an acceptable way to serve food. I do not recommend this place.
