The hamburger was the best I have eaten and the seasoned fries were delicious. They cook the hamburgers after you order them. No frozen patties here.

Got a tip from the hostess at the Bryce Canyon Lodge when the wait time there was 45 minutes - 1 hour. Since I was headed toward Panguitch, she recommended Henrie's. Yum! She did not steer me wrong :-) Burger patties are handmade -- the real deal. And you know when your chocolate malt is served with a spoon, you're in for a treat. Fries were kinda "meh" compared to the burger & malt, but hey, that's a small price to pay for an otherwise delicious meal.

Fantastic burger. Could be top five in the State of Utah. Fries are great and the service was very friendly (ate inside). The single burger isn’t huge and the house signature burger, the “Chubby” is only a double patty version so don’t shy away from it. Cooked to order but the wait seemed very reasonable and they were busy!

Comfy three bedroom house we used for visiting Bryce. 10 times better than a hotel room.
Had a Cubby Cheeseburger, English Chips and a Root beer Freeze. Wife had a Hamburger, Fires and Chocolate Mint shake, We ate inside it was clean, service was friendly. both our meals were delicious. Going to stop again when going through Panguitch. Well done Henrie's. Thanks for a great lunch.

We love to head to local drive ins when on our roadtrips, so when we saw the line at Henri's Hideout on the main street of Panguitch near our motel, we assumed it was a popular place and decided to try it out. We quickly learned the line in the drive through was mainly due to extremely slow service. The menu was confusing with different prices for cash versus charge and different options for dine in versus drive through. I thought I ordered a combo with burger and fries as it was listed though it was served without fries. I would have gone back and asked for those, but I wasn't sure it would be worth the wait time. While sitting in the drive through line waiting for my burger (which are at least prepared individually) , I was given the dish of vanilla ice cream only to watch it melt while I waited for the rest of the order. I was not given a receipt for my credit card order so I was unsure what I was going to be charged. For a burger, soft drink and small ice cream, I was charged $9.97. We do like to support a local place, but in this case it might have been better to go to a familiar franchise or just grab some grub from the nice local grocery store. The restaurant does have outside picnic tables in the back and a covered picnic area with ample parking for even larger vehicles.

We ordered cheeseburger, grilled cheese, chicken fingers, fries and shakes. The cheeseburger was fantastic. Juicy with a fantastic sauce. Grilled cheese was better than my own. The chicken fingers were nothing special. But the shakes were thick and delicious. Wish we could have stayed for several meals! Also, the “house” for rent behind the drive-in is wonderful. Three bedrooms and two baths. Clean and had everything we needed, including a little green space for kids to run. We loved our two nights there!
