Food was good and Diego was wonderful with his service. I would’ve given a 4/5 stars because of the food. Which there’s a lot of Mexican food in Payson area so it’s hard to actually stand out. Diego went above and beyond taking care of me. Thanks!

Good service. Loved the cheese enchilada and the chicken taco.

I hadn’t ate here in more than 10 years. Thought I’d give it a try this weekend. Order a combo with a chile verde burrito and chicken enchilada. My burrito was mainly beans and tortilla. The rice was not cooked and crunchy. My son asked for rice in place of beans inside his taco salad and it had no rice or beans which was fine given the rice situation. I guess I hadn’t missed out on much and won’t be going there again anytime soon.

This used to be our favorite place. I heard that the restaurant has been passed down to children. The second to the last time we went, we waited for over 45 minutes and then our food was barely warm. We didn’t return for nearly five months and finally decided to give them another chance. We were seated, and 20 minutes later, after not getting water or chips and salsa, we got up and left. They only had two other tables with customers. People that came in after us had chips and salsa and had ordered. We noticed that our favorite burrito verde had nearly tripled in price from a year ago.

Plan on spending $50-$60 for two people if you come here to eat. They ask you if you want rice and beans with your meals as if it’s included, but don’t disclose that it’s an additional $7 per plate to add rice and beans. Our two sides of rice and beans and small drinks added an extra $22 to our bill. I’ve come here my whole life but won’t be back. The waitress was nice.

Food was 4/10 at best. Ordered a side of “green” sauce for a dry chewy quesadilla & it tasted very weird. Asked the manager to take the $3 side of sauce off our bill & he was rude & said no. Won’t be returning & don’t recommend.

The food was good, but the bad thing was the service, the girl who served us was rude and made faces at us as if she were doing us a favor by going to eat there, I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend.

I don’t know how to relay my disappointment and dissatisfaction at the quality of the meal. The pork in the Chile verde was extremely hard like it had been triple cooked, not tender at all. It was like eating jerky. Speaking of jerky their carne asada plate comes with an abysmal amount of meat and it was jerky. I’m sure they left it on the stove for 30 minutes too long and then tossed out to sit under a heat lamp for another 20 minutes. Extremely dry carne asada, super hard bland pork, and a crazy wait time for 4 people. Maybe 4 tables were full and we waited an hour.Rice was ok mixed with the beans. Chips and salsa were also mediocre.Otherwise don’t waste your money here until they drastically improve. On the other hand the waitress / hostess was super attentive and got our orders right and made sure we had anything else we needed. She was super nice. Kudos to her!

Been coming here since I was a baby, no joke. I cannot believe how high the prices are now. I know everywhere raised prices but this place is crazy expensive now. 92 dollars for 4 meals and an order of chips and salsa to go. Absolutely insane. the foods good but not that good, this is olive garden price haha. they're getting more skimpy with portions and ingredients as well, which is a bummer. I still recommend the chicken smothered burritos if price isnt an issue. They also have good salsa and cheese enchiladas.Parking: Loads of parking in front of store and off to the side.

Well... it was all very very bland. The chicken was just boiled and shredded (no seasoning). The beans had no salt. Sauce and cheese can only help you so much. You need to actually cook flavor into your food. The service/staff was the best part.Update: my daughter woke up very sick with stomach issues. We'll never eat here again.

My mother-in-law suggested this restaurant for a birthday dinner for our daughter‘s 23rd birthday. The food was so good. My husband and I shared a combo plate. We got the enchilada and a chili relleno. I love beans and rice and there’s was so good. Are usually will judge a Mexican restaurant solely on those two dishes. It usually means everything else is good and this place did not disappoint. I enjoyed the Horchata. Very well-made. I gave the atmosphere three stars because there wasn’t a lot of effort put into the decor. However, the food was good enough to make up for it.

Wow now i remember why i haven't ate here for two year's same bad food. with the prices they charge you'd think they would actually put some filling in the chili Verde burrito but hey i guess that's how they make there money one peice of pork n a smear from the back of the ladle. Good ta go...Seriously...
