This place is really solid. Classic home town diner spot. Food is fresh, it’s nothing that will blow your mind, but it is very good. Having ranch on tap and the ranch quality gives this a full letter grade. It is a little on the pricey side for what you get, but it’s not egregious. Also great soda variety! I would definitely come back, but I’m not dying to go back. Really solid, middle tier food. Atmosphere is so warm and nostalgic. Three and 1/2 stars. I like this place!

I know a lot of provincials come here because their parents and grandparents came here, but ever since we got several hairs in our food, which they denied, we haven't returned. Total garbage.

This place made the ordering process far more complicated than it needs to be. There are no combo meals, only à la carte options, which is confusing and ends up feeling inconvenient. Honestly, I would’ve spent more if combos were available, but that wasn’t even an option.

Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing. Our order came out cold, and the cheeseburger had an odd taste—almost like large pieces of fat in the meat, along with a slightly spoiled flavor. We asked for a replacement, but the staff seemed annoyed, which didn’t help the experience.

I genuinely love supporting small businesses, but simple improvements in customer service, food quality, and menu structure could make a huge difference here.

Can’t imagine a worse experience. We ordered a small snack and paid with card. One of the staff then emerges and says that the card transaction didn’t go through so we use a different card. Feeling a bit suspicious, as this has never happened at any other place in our lives, we check our credit cards and see that the transactions did go through for each of them. We show that to staff and get told “sorry, nothing we can do, dispute the charge with your bank”. While that would be an easy process if it was the same card, it being two separate payment methods adds a level of headache to the whole thing, emboldened by this just being a small charge at a fast food place. Can’t imagine the mindset of forcing customers to go through this scam of an experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband and I brought our two daughters who are 12 and 2 and we came to this place with high hopes from what we’ve heard about it. As we waited and noticed others around us who were in line before and after us receive their orders before us we thought ours would be ready as well. 45 mins pass by and still no update on our food so when I go check to see what happened to our order the workers complained about what sorry chefs they have and that our chicken nuggets and burger is almost ready another 5 mins. How long does it take to make a couple burgers and fries and not only that, our food wasn’t even hot. I really don’t like that no one took accountability rather they blamed each other and on top of that the manager on duty or supervisor said they couldn’t refund us $56 for an order that didn’t even meet our expectations. When I walked up to the stand the staff was standing around like they had nothing to do. Glad they finally refunded us after my husband had to go talk to them. We will not dine here again! If you don’t want to work there then don’t. I get they are young but don’t work there if you are just going to stand around. If you want to be disappointed go to Purple turtle.
