New management, new flavors, top notch. Wonderful comeback story.
I came here a few months ago and it was aight. I live in the area so at least there was okay BBQ nearby. Today? I came and wow the food absolutely slapped. Had their traditional house ribs and their new Blue Heat Ribs and both were fire. Sides were perfect.
And then we even got a surprise pumpkin bar on the side. We have a GREAT bbq spot in the area now!

Judy and the amazing team at Lost Texan prepared a dozen Turkeys for our birthday celebration at the Weber Fridge today. On top of smoking the best turkey I've ever eaten Judy and her daughter spent their afternoon serving our community. 10/10 recommend. I went to an event that Lost Texan catered and the food was incredible. Really loved the Blue Heat sauce along with the beans. They add bits of sausage to make it really pop. The new owner was super gracious. Was glad to talk with her about some of the things they’re working on coming up. Would definitely recommend.

We went in to see how things were running with the new owners, skeptical because I was a huge fan of the previous owner's food. We could not have been more impressed. New staff and food is INCREDIBLE! so kind and welcoming they answered any questions we had, made sure we had huge plates of food that was out of this world. We took home enough food for another meal. BBQ in general is a little spendy but it's worth every cent here!
Gave this place a second chance....The service (young men working) were extremely professional and very good with their customer service skills. The coleslaw had a great flavor to it, and I have always liked the green beans. The brisket wasn't bad.

In my travels across the country and back, I had yet to encounter a place with all boxes checked. For the quick bite and excellent service- it is top notch. On a whim, we went in for lunch, not expecting much, but was greeted warmly and lovingly by the owner and kin. We were guided through the process which was simple to follow and got a couple different meats. Most times when we go to meat shops, the meat is overcooked, dry, over seasoned, under seasoned. This was not the case. Hot, perfectly seasoned meat was awaiting us. Normally sauce is mandatory, but not here- it detracted from the flavors. It was there as a nice addition, and not something missed if not added. How impeccable to have such delectable flavors and textures. How much love is needed to make a shop work so well? If you are curious, go see. This was amazing. Thank you, we will see you again.

Our motorcycle group rides across the western USA looking for great BBQ. We have tried food from one end of UTAH to the other, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, California, Oregon and Montana. The new owners of Lost Texan have struck GOLD. Blue heat ribs are amazing and both the Texas and house brisket are soooo good. Your sides make the package with good flavor and variety, this is where so many other places fail. So far you are in a tie for 1st place in the western USA and I think you will tip the scale after I have visited several more times. Keep up the great work and bottle some of the Blue Heat for me to take home next time.
