Aloha Plate is a go-to in the Cougareat. The portions are good for the price, and the food is always delicious. The meats and macaroni salad are just as good as other Hawaiian barbecue you'd find out in the community, but with the convenience of being on campus!

I paid nearly $14 for a meal that I thought would be the rice, steak, dull whip, and macaroni. They gave me 5 small pieces of meat, tons of plain soggy rice, and very mediocre macaroni. They never texted me that my meal was done but 10 minutes after the expected time I checked and it was just sitting there getting cold and they forgot my dull whip, but gave it to me after I asked. I told the worker that I didn't get a full serving of meat and he didn't care to even look. The dull whip was fire but besides that it was the worst food I've spent $14 for.

Gross. not surprised. They give you really good portions at a good size but it's nauseating. I couldn't finish it and I was starving

In the beginning they were serving small portions of food , but I have been surprised the last couple time with good food and good portions. Idk if they changed manager but they are doing good work.

Loved this place but meat portions are shrinking insane amounts. Not cool at all. Bring back the meat or lower the prices!

This was my favorite spot in the cougar eat at BYU. The pulled pork was fantastic and they had great sauces for the meat and rice. The portions are also amazing!
One small chicken breast for a $10 plate? That’s not what I expected at the stadium

Small meat portions. They were out of Mac salad and gave another rice scoop instead without asking or letting us know :(

Terrible you can't call this hawiian food it is spitting in the face of true good hawian cuisine the meat was a weird consistency, and the teriyaki tastes terrible I refuse to go back absolutely disgusting.

We have loved Aloha Plates; however, recently they have been giving small pieces of meat and calling it double meat. Look at the picture and tell me how that is double meat? They gave us two chicken tenders and call it double katsu. When I asked the cashier if I got double meant, her response after looking at my plate was, "Yes, it is? Yes, it is." She wasn't even sure it was double meat. Stop this shady practice and give us what we paid for.

Deciding what to eat is hard sometimes. Its sad that in 1st world countries we sometimes spend more time thinking about what to eat then actually eating the food itself. However, deciding to eat at Aloha Plate was a quick decision based on its food to cost ratio and highly rated comments from my friends. I ordered a Mixed plate of Pork and chicken. Pork with extra teriyaki sauce was amazing, chicken was a tad dry but still savory. I'm still a kid at heart so the macaroni salad was hands down my favorite thing in this plate. Overall, 4/5! Will go back for sure! :)
